Hello!I live in a one bedroom plus study apartment in Northcote. It’s a really nice sunlit apartment with a large private balcony and only a short stroll to High St Northcote and Station Street Fairfield. 600m from Dennis train station and a bus stop directly out front that takes you into the city. Also plenty of free on street parking available.I’m headed off overseas for 4 weeks and looking for someone to house / pet / plant sit for me :)I have a 5yo shih tzu cross named Xander and a 6 month old kitten named Hershey. The two of them are best buddies and love each other’s company, but if someone felt more comfortable just looking after the cat I can arrange for Xander to have a little holiday at his grandparents!Ideally would be great if someone had a flexible work arrangement where they had the option to work from home some days - I have a great home office set up with a standing desk and great broadband internet. Xander and Hershey are fine hanging out at home together but they are both very affectionate animals so would love the company and cuddles from someone.
Pets & farm animals
Xander - super sassy and affectionate 5 yo shih tzu cross. Loves a walk at the local park and just being in people’s company. Fancies himself to be a real lap dog, but when at the park he reckons he is some big boss top dog ?? very well trained and behaved. Hates a bath… but if you tell him it’s bath tile he will begrudgingly walk himself into the shower. Hershey - confident and cute 6 month old kitten (apparently a big boy for his age!). A little bit naughty / curious with jumping on the bench and swiping at my hanging pot plants, but training him out of it. If you leave the bathroom door open he will try to get cuddles while you are on the toilet and he loves curling up next to the shower while he waits for you to be done. Will likely try to sit on your knee as soon as you sit down. They often both try sitting on your knee at the same time…
House Tasks
Really just to keep the fur babies company, walk the dog morning and night, clean the kitty litter, collect mail and just enjoy the apartment :)
