My Kelpie Lex & I are seeking a dog | house sitter. ~ Due to unforeseen circumstances our caring dogsitter is no longer available for the dates above. Not being as agile as he once was, he does have some old fella health issues: osteoarthritis & prostrate that require a mindful person to maintain his dietary + meds + hygiene + exercise routine. ~ ABOUT our PAD: compact, 1 bdrm rustic flat located in Brighton QLD - close to the Foreshore; shops; & public transport. With Moments Biscuits boutique cafe around the corner, your morning coffee is sorted! . Feel like a meal, cheeky vino & some live acoustic tunes? FRI - SUN just walk out the front gate & voila soak up Eclectea Cafe friendly vibes - no uber required! ~ We’d love to connect with a caring dog sitter, who is open to nurturing my old Red Fella’s needs to maintain his health & wellbeing.

~ My Fella, Lex is a gentle, 17.5yr elderly Kelpie whose days consist of snoozing, eating, very gentle walks & soaking up loving company. Lex is true to his breed: intelligent; intensely loyal & attentive to his loved ones. He’s not into socialising with other dogs - happy to share a tail wag, but prefers the company of his human! Not being as agile as he once was, he does have some old fella health issues: osteoarthritis & prostrate that require a mindful person to maintain his dietary + meds + hygiene + exercise routine. Being a retired working dog, Lex is a responsive, obedient fella ~ happy to enjoy a quiet life filled with kindness; naps; nature & treats!
House Tasks
- Main focus: mindful, attentive care of Lex. Appreciate maintaining cleanliness of the space; maybe mail collection. Gardening optional - if you enjoy gardening, you’re very welcome to Potter in our little courtyard garden. However, it’s not expected.
