Pets & farm animals

We need someone who likes cats, who can give our cat plenty of TLC while we're gone. She is a bit apprehensive of strangers but can be bribed over with food and eventually when she trusts you, she loves to cuddle and play. We need someone to feed her in the morning and evening, change her water bowl daily and give her attention. She is free to wonder around our secure cat-proof little yard and she can come in and out on her own, through the cat door, so you wouldn't need to worry about taking her outside. She goes to the toilet in the garden, so there's no need to deal with kitty litter. She is otherwise an indoor cat. Being very food orientated, you need to make sure you don't leave any food lying around, as she will steal it! She has been known to run off with a block of cheese before! Don't be fooled by all her meowing while in the kitchen, she never gives up!

House Tasks

We require that you water our indoor and outdoor plants once a week. We have a compost bin, for any food scraps, which is very easy to use. And we need you to keep the house clean and tidy and check the mail while we are gone. You must be reliable, trustworthy, respectful of our belongings, tidy and an animal person! We would need you to arrive in the evening of 19 December or to come over for a visit beforehand, so we can introduce you to Leia and to show you where everything is. You can leave on the morning of 27 January. We will be back in the the late morning.
