Hi! We’re looking for someone who LOVES cats! We will go to USA/Canada for up to 4 weeks in Sept/Oct are looking for someone to look after our fur baby & home while we are away. We are also heading to the snow on the 28/7/2019 to 3/8/2019 and would dearly like to same sitter for both trips. But if not I already have a few parties interested in doing the July/Sept trip for us. If you are able to do both stays please let us know asap. Exact dates are yet to be confirmed for SEPT/OCT.
About the house: It’s a small 50s built beach cottage style house. 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom/laundry, kitchen and lounge with a back deck & outdoor Gas BBQ and small grassed yard & garden. Wi-Fi, Foxtel & Electricity are included. We have Solar, but it’s not working properly, so we’d love someone who is energy conscious. The house itself is nothing flash, but its home. We are in various stages of clearing out junk, but hope most of this will be done by the time we take this trip. The house has 3 bedrooms & would accommodate a single, 2 friends/couple. Older children are welcome, but only if they are old enough to climb the loft bed ladder competently and understand how to respect our Neelix. The Master bedroom has a Queen Size Bed, second bedroom has a Double bed and the 3rd bedroom has a single high loft bedroom.
About the area: 5 mins walk to Warriewood Centro, 3 mins walk to local bus line, 10-15 mins walk to B-Line bus, 15-20 min walk to Beach, 3 min walk to local Wetland & Bush walks. There are lots of local Picnic areas, parks, playgrounds. Walking or Cycling the 10km around Narrabeen Lake is gorgeous! Cycling paths we have bikes here but the local Bike store where you can also hire backs is only 5-10 mins walk. 15-20 min walk to local Cinema, lots of options for eating out including fast food. Mona Vale & Narrabeen Pubs/clubs. Terrey Hills Tavern, Mona Vale & Narrabeen RSL Clubs & Tavern have courtesy buses.
As mentioned above, if you can help us out for both trips would be ideal for Neelix's sake.

About our fur baby: Neelix is a 10 year old pure breed Ragdoll cat. Like most Ragdolls he is relaxed by nature, but he can be a bit of a snob at first and may get a little testy if you crowd him too soon. He will warm to anyone feeding him, play with him and willing to show him love.. You’ll need some patience, but once he gets to know you, you'll see the usual sweet nature. He is a mainly indoor cat with supervised visits to the back yard. His middle name is Houdini, because he has found an exit route and is not afraid to practice his skills of vanishing, If he is supervised he won’t escape. If he does get out, he knows home so will return… but only when he’s good and ready which may be 5 minutes or 5 hours! We’d prefer he doesn’t get out for obvious reasons, The house is on a busy road and Ragdolls aren’t known for their road sense.
Neelix is accustomed to sharing the bed, So if you're fine with that great. If not, you'll need to lock him in the front room with the double bed, leave a litter tray and a drink and he will be fine till morning.
House Tasks
Collecting Mail. Taking Bins out & in after collection. Keeping the lawn cut (easy battery run mower)
Clean after yourself and vacuum before leaving.
Be mindful of electrical use.
