This is a large 4 bedroom house on 2/3 of an acre, with swimming pool, 10 minutes from the Logan Hyperdome, with shops, cinema, resturants, gym and bowling alley. Situated halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and just 20 minutes by car to Morton Bay with Stradbroke and Morton Islands, plus numerous other islands, to which one can catch the ferry..
Three bedrooms are available for your use, one bathroom upstairs and one bathroom downstairs. One room is not available for use, that is my private office. Part of my art room is available with a large table and chairs. No furniture is to be moved.
I have 3 dogs here, all rescues, plus 13 chickens, also rescues, they need looking after, with attention, care, and some affection. My animals need someone who LIKES animals, not just tolerates them.
In addition, the plants will need a watering,and the pool to be looked after.
The place is quiet, and peaceful, surrounded by singing birds and shady trees, plus lot s of outside areas to sit and just enjoy.
Pets & farm animals
Three small dogs between 3kgs to 13 kgs. They have breakfast and dinner, plus a walk in the park every day. And a bath every 2 weeks.
13 chickens that are attended to daily, with feeding, and water containers scrubbed out and filled up with fresh water. The coop is cleaned out daily and the manure put into the compost bin. In the morning, the girls are let out of the coop to wander around the yard, and at night, the girls go back to the coop and the doors closed in at night for their protection.
House Tasks
Breakfast for dogs. Walk dogs at local park, I find it easier to drive to the parks as the hill is steep so you will need to allow the dogs in your car. Clean chicken coop, bury chicken dung in garden, feed chickens and clean waterers, collect eggs.
