We are looking for a house-sit from 30th August 2017 for 3 weeks. Our home is located in Sydney, NSW, Australia and we are located some 15 or so kms from the CBD in Peakhurst. We have one female dog and a dozen birds. The birds require minimal attention in that they only need clean food and water daily. The dog is very friendly and active – she loves her daily walk. She is fed once a day except for the odd treat.Spring is a great time of the year to enjoy Sydney. We live close to bus and train routes for easy access to Sydney CBD, Bondi, Cronulla and local shopping suburbs such as Hurstville. Typically, we would ask a house sit to arrive a day or two before we depart. This allows the house sit to become acquainted with the dog and also the locale. We have a master bedroom with ensuite for your accommodation before our departure.
Pets & farm animals
We have one female dog who is 11 years old mixed breed. The aviaries contain 5 lorikeets in one and 2 cockatiels in the other. Additionally, we have two cages of hand-raised cockatiels.
House Tasks
There is little maintenance needed on the garden, just to water. However, the back yard is tiled so will need to be sweeped & washed. The birds only require food & water daily. Our dog is friendly & well behaved. She does like a walk daily.
