We are looking for a house sitter to live in our spacious modern home in Canberra to look after our 2 year old west highland white terrier and water a few pot plants for 6 weeks from 22 December.

We have extensive bicycle and walking paths in our area. We are adjacent to a nature reserve so there is the opportunity to go bush walking and take photos of parrots and kangaroos. There is a 50m indoor swimming pool 2km from our house.

You would have the exclusive use of our main bedroom, ensuite bathroom and toilet during your stay. There is a small balcony off our bedroom. You would share the living and kitchen facilities with our 40 year old professional friend and her young child. . She has the use of two bedrooms and her own bathroom and toilet at one end of the house. There are two living areas and two dining area so plenty of space for you all. Our friend works full time and her daughter is in full time child care so you would have the house to yourself during the day. She leaves for work at 7.30am and arrived home from work at about 6.30pm. They will be away for two of the weeks at Christmas/New Year so you would have the house to your self then.

We are close to Mulligans Flat nature reserve where you can see endangered bettongs.
Canberra is a lovely city to visit in Spring. You will have plenty of time to visit tourist attractions and gourmet restaurants.
