My house is a small Queenslander on a suburban block in Emerald in Central Queensland. The house has two double bedrooms and one bathroom, airconditioning, broadband internet and a modern kitchen including a dishwasher.
The fully fenced yard is mainly lawn and shrubs so fairly low maintenance. There are a number of pot plants that will need watering.
My main requirement is a dog lover who will look after my two shi tzu cross dogs, Lily (6 years) and Mady (7 years). Both dogs are female, desexed and healthy. They have the run of the house and yard and love a daily walk.
Normally when I am away, they stay at the kennels run by the local vet with whom we have a good relationship. However, this time I am taking long service leave and will be away from just after Easter until mid-July so do not want to leave them in kennels for that long. If necessary they could stay at the kennels for short periods during the house sit.
