. I have a 6-year old Labrador (quiet and well-trained) plus an older cat. However as I am going away for a family wedding my daughter's French Bulldog/Pug X (5 yrs) will also stay at my place as well as my sister's 10-year old Jack Russell. The dogs know each other well and the cat has his own closed-off area at the back of the house. The dogs need walking every day,, come rain or shine, either on the beach or a nearby wetlands. The house sitter/s needs to be prepared to scoop the poop in the garden and outside for three dogs. The dogs are fine to be left in the garden when you go out, particularly if they've already had a walk. The cat is old and basically lives in the laundry with a cat door to an enclosed back area where the washing line and herb garden are. He really just needs feeding twice a day and a bit of a brush from time to time. He could also go into boarding. The dogs also get fed twice a day. The dogs can be let off the lead on the beach and will come when called. I would suggest coming a couple of days earlier to get to know the animals before I leave. There is also a possibility of a further three weeks following on from my place only 20 minutes away looking after one dog.
