I am looking for a tidy, non-smoker house / pet sitter for 3 weeks in April / May. My house is a clean, large, comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located in a quiet street 200 m from lake and public reserve with great walking paths. There is a good boat ramp in Newlands Arm about 1km away. Excellent golf course or lawn bowls just are just 10 minute drive away and the wild life of Raymond Island (lots of koalas) a 15 minute drive to the ferry in Paynesville.Shopping / supermarket / cafes / doctor etc. are 10 - 15 km away in Paynesville or Bairnsdale.
Pets & farm animals
Pet care would also be required for 2 friendly gentle dogs. 1 greyhound - 6 yrs old - who is quite timid of strangers at first & 1 whippet (with a bit of border collie) - 3 yrs old - who can get overly friendly and quite excited but very well behaved when she settles down. Both love going for walks and there is a lovely walking track along the lakefront but they can also be happy just being lounge lizards (outside) or playing in the yard. I also have 2 cats who can be in the house with you or have their own large room with outside access at the end of the house. There is also 1 bird - Taco the Quaker parrot who has an inside "sleeping cage" and an outside cage for most of the day after having a fly around the house.
House Tasks
Other - Collect mail , keep house clean & tidy Mow lawns and water garden if necessary but I'm not a fanatical gardener!
