We own two male miniature dachshunds and are seeking someone to sit with them while we are away. We have had many successful sits in the past but ideally it would be great to find a regular sitter as we like to travel regularly although not a mandatory requirement .

Both our dogs are friendly, quiet and have been well trained and are disciplined. They tend to just sit or sleep on their pillow most of the day and therefore very easy to look after and good company.

Pet responsibilities:- includes feeding, caring for one of the dogs, Einstein, unfortunately he suffered an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) episode in August 2017 which totally paralysed his hind legs. He was quickly operated on and has made a great recovery to where he can now walk again, albeit slightly crippled. He can no longer get up and down our stairs. As part of his care he needs to be carried up and down the stairs to be taken to the toilet, as required. As a side effect of the episode he may have accidents in the house and will be required to be cleaned up. We also require that you pick up their droppings daily in the yard.

We live in Deagon on the north side of Brisbane, Our 3br house is a renovated hi-set home. You'll have your own room and ensuite and access to Wi-Fi and cable TV. The train station is only 400m walk away (30min to CBD). The shops/supermarket & cafes of Sandgate are only a minutes away by car or a 10min walk. A further 5min on finds you at the water front and the beautiful walk along the foreshore.
