Hello, We have a 3 bedroom unit in Carnegie, only 10 minutes walk from koornang road shops and 5 minutes from the 67 tram terminal that we would like to be housesat whilst we go overseas from end of June until mid July (approx) it will be for 2 weeks. At the end of the driveway, which can park one car (otherwise onstreet parking), it is very quiet, we have a backyard and garage (though our car may be in here for the duration - not available for use), wifi is included and freeview TV. We have cooling and heating. There are loads of cafes in Carnegie with the closest by the tram stop, there is also an excellent yoga studio on koornang road, public library and lots of restaurants. Close to Chadstone shopping centre and Southlands, 10 min and 15 min drive respectively. There is also a bus route to Chadstone and Brighton 5 minutes walk away. Carnegie has a train station connected to the city lines, though it is replaced by a bus service as the line is being upgraded to SkyRail.
Pets & farm animals
We have one older male cat, koko. He is a very demanding cat who thinks he is human so he needs lots of cuddles and someone to be around if possible. He is very talkative and social. We allow him outside from the morning until the afternoon if he wishes and if we are not out all day. We do have a tracker to ensure he stays away from the roads and can find him if he is not home by 4pm - we will work with you to get the app on your device so you can use it too while you look after him. At night he is strictly an inside cat. He is the perfect teddy bear, loves being cuddled in bed and spooning! He likes to be brushed and played with too. He needs feeding twice a day and cleaning out the litter tray (checked once a day and full clean once a week).
House Tasks
Usual care of the house, keeping clean and tidy, collection of the mail. Putting out of any rubbish and recycling if necessary.
