Horse & Dog Lovers - Country living close to Port Philip Bay. Hi There, we have a 4 year old home on 9 acres in Cranbourne South and have planned a vacation over Easter and the following week. We really need someone to come and house/pet sit for us while we are away.
The 4 bedroom house is easy maintenance, a weekly house cleaner comes in to look after floors & bathrooms, the kitchen is up to you to maintain. We have a wood fire heater, plenty of wood in the woodshed and the house is fully insulated so stays nice & warm.
We have 2 very friendly, well mannered doberman dogs, Kai & Koko. They are brother & sister, 5&1/2 years old and once you start patting them, they won't leave you alone. We also have a new addition, 6 month old Ridgeback pup, Zara. Zara is very playful, lots of fun and full of puppy mischief. They are all very much loved family members, they love to be with you, where ever you are. They love to lie by the fire when ever they are inside. They do sleep outside to keep an eye on the property, so you can feel secure all the times with them on guard. Koko is on medication which is easily given to her in a sandwich each morning with her breakfast, and they are both fed a premium diet so no cooking or preparation required.
We also have 3 horses who are pretty easy maintenance but do need to be fed morning & night with some medication added to their feeds. They all live together and will have ample hay as well. All horses have great manners and should be no problem. 13 chickens live in the chook run, they will need to be locked up each night and let out each morning to avoid any fox mishaps. Currently we collect 8-11 eggs each day so if you like eggs there will be an abundance available. 2 ducks live out on our dam and are fed in the stable feed room, they let you know when to feed them and are very easy maintenance.
We also have 1 Bearded Dragon (Puff) who lives in a heated enclosure and just needs to be fed every few days with fresh vege's and crickets. The lights and heaters are all automated so nothing else to do apart from feed him.
We have NBN fibre to the house - great internet speeds if you need to work from home.
Other than that, we are on the top end of the Mornington Peninsula, with easy access to some great locations.
All emergency contact details, feeding details and other things will be fully documented for you. There is little requirement for gardening or outdoor maintenance unless you particularly desire to do anything.
