Ross and Annette took care of our 5-acre property and our two dogs while we were away for a month. When we came back, our house had clearly been taken care of like it was their own, and the two dogs were happy and in great condition. Ross and Annette had clearly gone to a lot of trouble to keep things clean for us, and despite some very heavy rain while we were away, everything was looking immaculate. There was even some home made bread and soup ready for our dinner. We will definitely call on them again next time we go away, and we thoroughly recommend them for any other house sits. We are very happy to provide a reference for Ross and Annette Anderson, who recently house-sat for us while we holidayed in Bali. On our return we found that our animals were happy and relaxed, our house was very clean and tidy and our garden had received a pruning! Ross and Annette are very pleasant people and our neighbours have told us that they were friendly and approachable. Hi to everyone, it is with great pleasure to give a reference for Ross and Toots as they are the housesitters from heaven. We have a small acreage and a substancial new house with inground pool and shed and animals in the whitsundays. We just had a really good feeling about them after we talked on the phone and skyped each other. We went on a 3 month overseas holiday to europe and when we arrived home the entire property was maintained immaculately, gardens weeded,the dog walked,mail collected, nothing was too much trouble,even a baked pie in the fridge, we feel blessed that we were able to use the services of such a professional house sitting team and now consider them good friends. House sit 29/06/2013 - 31/07 2013. This has been our first experience using house sitters to care for our home and small dog. Using Happy House Sitter we were most fortunate to connect with Ross and Annette Anderson who have taken of our house and pet as though they were their own. We first met Ross and Annette the day before we departed on our holiday. We could tell from that first meeting everything was in safe hands as they approach the task of house sitting in a most professional manner. We contacted Ross and Annette a couple of times during our trip and were assured all was well. Upon returning home, from the moment we walked in it was like walking in to a home that had been cared for by professional cleaners and the grounds were clean and tidy. The dog was very content. Ross and Annette Anderson house-sat and dog minded for us during the very wet month of June 2013. We returned to a happy, healthy and obviously well loved and walked (big) dog. Neighbours commented that they were always friendly and also on how well and happy our dog looked when being walked. The house and garden were immaculately maintained, and cleaned to a very high standard for our return, as was our car that they were invited to use for transporting our dog. When we returned, a very welcome and delicious pot of homemade soup and fruit cake had been prepared for us. We have no hesitation in highly recommending them for house and dog sitting. Ross and Annette were wonderful housesitters! We couldn't have asked for a lovlier couple to look after our home and pets. When we arrived home, the house was more spotless than ever before, and the garden had been lovingly tended to and looked so neat and beautiful! Our cat and dog weren't overly excited to see us, so clearly they were very well looked after! And as an added bonus there were gorgeous little Christmas puddings in the fridge for us. My husband and I were so pleased to have Annette and Ross look after everything, we'd love to have them back any time!

My husband and I spent a month overseas recently visiting our son and family, leaving behind three very indulged, pampered poodles, one being very, very old - blind and deaf as well. Annette and Ross came and stayed at our home and from the moment we stepped out the door to the moment we returned, I was never concerned for them as we knew they were in good hands. We returned to find an immaculate home, three very happy furry things, garden well tended plus a delightful lunch ready for us in the fridge. What a treat! I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to our closest friends or family. In fact, they are helping us out again later this year!
