About

Caring couple to take care of your home and pets. Jim and I had been housesitting continuously for more than fifteen years, had a 2 year break during Covid19 restrictions, but are happy to be housesitting again!. We enjoy exploring new areas, caring for homes, gardens and precious pets, as well providing peace of mind for owners. We are animal lovers and will keep them to their usual eating/exercise/play routine as closely as possible. Previously, I worked in Real Estate as a Property Manager. Having had 6 years experience in Property Management, I am confident in taking care of every aspect of your housesit - pet responsibilities, security, maintenance, correspondence, as well as resolving any little problems that inevitably pop up. I'm a very house proud woman, 61 years old, independent, fit, honest, responsible, easy going and a good communicator. Jim's background is in the building industry and he previously managed his small family Residential Building and Development Business. Between 2001 and 2004 he also managed a 12 room Motel in Hallidays Point, NSW. It had a large pool and extensive grounds which he maintained year round. Gardening is one of the hobbies he particularly enjoys. We have glowing references from previous housesits and national police clearances. Feel free to contact us with any queries. The best House Sitters in Brisbane. House and garden beautifully looked after. Our medium size dog loves them both and is always happy to be left with Gina and Jim. Gina kindly left some staples in the fridge so we didn't have to stock our pantry as soon as we got home This couple is a delight to deal with and treated our home as their own. Highly recommend this couple of anyone looking for a house sitter in South East Queensland

Wow I don’t know where to start! We were nervous about having people in our home and looking after our previous cavalier but went onto the site as a recommendation from someone I met at a dog park. Our experience with Gina and Jim is fantastic. From the original meeting through to us leaving and upon our return the communication was great. While away we received regular updates and photos of our cavalier. When we came home, the place was spotless, some maintenance had been tended to that was our responsibility, our cavalier was happy and healthy and to top it off dinner was in the fridge for us along with some treats and staples to tide us over until we got to the shops the next day. We recommend Gina and Jim very highly and hope we will be lucky enough to have them house sit for our future holidays.

We cannot recommend Gina and Jim highly enough for any house/pet sitting. They cared for our home beautifully and we came home to a wonderfully clean house, some staples in the fridge so we didn't have to stock our pantry as soon as we got home and a spotlessly clean pool. More importantly Kyle, our cat, was extremely happy and contented and missed them after they left. They were quick to respond, a delight to deal with and treated our home as their own. We hope to be able to ask them to mind Kyle and our home again in the future.

My wife and I are always apprehensive when we go away and worry about the care of our rescue dogs. One of which is quite afraid of strangers. Gina and Jim were fantastic and we came back to a sparkling clean house and two very happy dogs. Gina messaged and sent photos regularly to keep us updated on our two rescue dogs. Our girl Bella was quite shy at first but she welcomed Gina and Jim once they put her at ease. Our boy Mambo was quite happy (thank you for putting on his sunscreen :-). Gina bought some food for us, which was a very kind gesture and really appreciated. We would not hesitate to book Gina and Jim to look after our home and dogs for when we go away next time. Gina and Jim are both pleasant and respectful people. They looked after our house, the garden and our two small dogs while we holidayed in Europe. Gina kindly sent us regular photos of the dogs to reassure us all was well. The garden and pool were maintained by Jim as expected and it was great to come home to a freshly mowed and trimmed lawn. The dogs had their fortnightly wash by Gina and Jim, so they were happy and clean. All went well and if they are available during our next holiday we will call on Gina and Jim first.

Gina & Jim have been wonderful housesitters during our long-awaited 5 week trip. Because i had surgery twice in the four weeks prior to our departure, i couldn't prepare the house as well as i usually do, but they understood my predicament and we came home to a clean & shining home - which we are very grateful for. Most importantly, our two three year old red Burmese cats were very happy and healthy. As promised, Gina had kept us up-to-date with news of them and sent photos of them which we loved receiving while we were away. Gina even left us a meal in the fridge for our return, which was a very thoughtful gift. Gina and Jim were the perfect couple to entrust the care of our cat and house. They are very considerate and careful to ensure that they understand what is required before we left. Then they went above and beyond the requirments. They kept in regular contact while we were away for a month and when we returned home the house and garden were in inmaculate condition. cleaner than before we left. Our cat told me that she had the best time ever, so why did we come home! Have no hestiation in engaging the house-sitting services of Gina and Jim, it could not be better.

I could not be happier with the way Gina and Jim took care of my darling boy "Cat" and also the house. They were happy to do video calls with me and as well as the house being spotless, I got a lovely dining room table arrangement of flowers and card from them when I arrived home after my long work trip.. I will definitely be asking them to sit for me again in the future if they are not already booked out because they certainly do have a long list of people wanting them to pet sit for them.
