Hi Happy House owners,



We are a mature couple in our early 70's, who are honest, trustworthy and reliable.



We are a retired active couple, so we are at home most of the day.



We are both very house proud, having built and maintained 3 of our own.



We have been house sitting for the last 10 years. We have enjoyed looking after pet and homes as if they we our own.



We have had all sorts of pets while our children were growing up. We are experienced in administering medication, should your pets require it.



It would be our privilege and pleasure to look after your pets and home and give you peace of mind while you are away.



If you have pets, we would love to take your pets for walks.



We are both NON SMOKERS and have had our Police checks done which are available to you, if requested. We are a quiet and reliable couple who enjoy our peace and quiet

Amazing!! It was such a pleasure to have Terry & Henrietta home sit for us and look after our puppy Zara, fish, plants and home. This is the first time we have experienced house sitting and believe me I would have them back in a heartbeat. Not only did they feed, bath and walk our pup, but Terry also taught her new tricks & obedience. All my plants inside & out and our home was left immaculate!! Coming home from our holiday this time was so different, all we had to do was unpack & relax. Thank you once again Terry & Henrietta. Highly recommended!!!

WOW. What can I say. Henrietta and Terry are the best thing since sliced bread. Our house, dog and fish were all in tip top shape - maybe not the dog - she is overweight afterall. The house was left in immaculate cleanliness. I could not recommend Henrietta and Terry highly enough. This is the first time we have ever had house sitters and it turned out to be a very good decision to go with Henrietta and Terry, so much so that we are booking them for our next holiday. You will not be disappointed if you choose them to look after your house and animals.

Simply Outstanding. From the very first contact, Henrietta and Terry were communicative and responsive to our requests for information and planning details. They came to meet our very nervous girl (Poppy 12 yr old Jack Russell) who is not always that comfortable with strangers.......and it was clear from the very beginning that they both had a great connection with animals that made Poppy feel at home very quickly. They have a very down-to earth and practical nature that we really appreciate. Nothing was left to chance with a very detailed questionnaire requested that covered all of the relevant details you would expect of a stay - very professional!! They made our departure very easy, and helped settle Poppy in by taking her on numerous walks every day, along with sending us regular updates (with photos) that made us feel very much at ease that all was well. on our return the house was IMMACULATELY clean and ready for our return (we arrived in the evening to freshly laundered sheets and towels!! Cannot rate these two ultimate House and Pets sitters highly enough Margaret and Brad

Henrietta and Terry are a delightful couple that really take looking after your pets and house seriously. They have looked after our dog and house on a number of occasions. Henrietta and Terry are excellent house sitters Archie and Coco, our 2 Tonkinese cats were immediately comfortable with them and they did everything they could to look after them welll Their communication was great including an excellent check list and regular contact while we were away. They looked after the house extremely well and we came home to a very clean and tidy home. Highly recommend and it’s no surprise they are sought after

We are frequent travellers and after the retirement of our wonderful house-sitter of many years, it was with some trepidation that we searched for someone new to cover a long trip and a very demanding but much-loved dog. After many applications and a few short-list meetings, we finally matched up with Henrietta and Terry and were delighted with the result. There were no problems and communication was excellent while we were away, and it was clear on our return how Tilly had not just been looked-after but had really bonded with her new carers. The house was equally well maintained and we are delighted to commend Henrietta & Terry to any house and pet owners who may be looking for sitters.

Henrietta and Terry house sat for us for the last week. We arrived home today a spotless home and a very content puppy. Henrietta and Terry kept us informed on the welfare of our Milly while we were away and nothing was a problem for them. We were pleased to meet them prior to the house sit and will gladly have them back for future house sits . For the second time this year Henrietta and Terry house and dog sat for us for 4 weeks in September 2017 while we were overseas. Our 7 year old rescue Labrador, Jessie, was beautifully looked after. They made sure she was taken to her pre-booked grooming appointments and ensured she received her medication and daily exercise. When there was an issue with her prescription food supply, they dealt with the vet expertly and we returned home to a very happy, healthy, content and obviously loved Jessie. While we were away, Henrietta and Terry diligently watered our newly clipped garden and did a number of jobs around the house. Their eye for detail and commonsense approach is what particularly appeals to us, as well as their incredibly friendly and kind personalities. We have landed on our feet in welcoming Henrietta and Terry into our home and we would have absolutely no hesitation in referring them to our family and friends. We also now check their availability first before booking our holidays!

Henni and Terry are excellent house sitters. They looked after our two anxious dog for three weeks in April 2017. They were both delightful from our first contact. We spoke over the phone and they then came down to Sydney to meet us and our dogs. Our dogs, who generally don’t like strangers, took to both Henni and Terry quickly. They were extremely organised and provided us with an information sheet to fill out so that they would know all our dogs habits and quirks of the house. While we were away, Henni gave us regular updates on the dogs, which gave us peace of mind on our holiday. We came home to extremely happy, calm dogs and a wonderfully clean house. They had also done many extras around the house, from taking care of the garden to giving the fishtank a really good scrub. We would wholeheartedly recommend both Henni and Terry as house and pet sitters. We will definitely be asking them back for any future trips.

Henrietta and Terry are simply superb and we could not recommend them as house and pet sitters highly enough. We were travelling overseas for 3 weeks over the Christmas and New Year 2015/6 period and had never left our 7 year old labrador, Jessie, for longer than a few nights. We were worried that Jessie might fret and miss us but we couldn't have been more wrong. Henrietta and Terry were a delight from our initial contact right through to today, a week after our return and Henrietta just sent us a lovely message and further photos of Jessie their time here. We had read their profile on the Happy House Sitters website when we first registered and thought straight up they might be the people for us and so we contacted them and asked them to view our posting. A visit to our home, a cup of tea and an hours chat later, we knew we'd found 2 very special people. Henrietta and Terry were incredibly well prepared and organised and came with a number of excellent references from repeat home owners. They were eager to understand the workings of the house and any special or quirky things with appliances and systems etc. Jessie required daily exercise and medication and they never missed a beat, Jessie definitely bonded with them both and we could not have asked for 2 more loving and pet friendly people to look after her. Our peace of mind was immeasurable. Our home was also newly on the market and they were brilliantly helpful in dealing with the real estate agent, photographer and gardener on our behalf. Terry even fixed our front gate which had been broken for some time! We arrived home to a very happy and content labrador, delicious home made fresh cookies and Christmas cake and a beautiful gift from Henrietta which she had knitted herself. We would have Henrietta and Terry back in a heart beat and we're already recommending them to friends and family. Two more friendly, trustworthy, caring and sensible people would be hard to find. We only hope they are available when we next travel! If you invite Henrietta and Terry to look after your home and pets, you are very lucky indeed...

Henrietta and Terry looked after our house, garden and three dogs over the Christmas and New Year period whilst we were overseas. On our return, the house was spotless and the garden well tended. Our dogs were very happy and had enjoyed regular walks and strokes. We have an older dog who required daily pills and various other medical considerations, Henrietta and Terry were conscientious in their care of her which was appreciated. Our first time placing an add through this website and we struck gold with Henrietta and Terry! We had them take care of the house over the Christmas week, and they did a wonderful job, leaving the house in a better state than what we left it in! Our two dogs were well taken care of, and the house was well maintained for us, which we appreciated so much! Looking forward to hopefully having Henrietta and Terry take care of our house again in June...we know our pups Shadow and Kyro would be thrilled!
