My name’s Alejandro, I’m a 39-year-old lucky “new(ish) Aussie”, born and raised in Argentina. I’ve been in Australia since 2011, starting in Melbourne and eventually moving to Perth.

I studied drama and sociology in a previous life, and worked in hospitality and as a disability support worker also in some “distant past”. More recently, I did some FIFO work in Western Australia.

I am currently finishing an unplanned, long stay in Buenos Aires (Argentina), following my mum’s passing after an unexpected medical emergency. I’m going to be staying with a good friend of mine in Perth until mid September, and would be most grateful to look after some fur babies after that.

I love animals, and have been able to look after different pets and creatures over the years: cats, dogs, fish, as well as some farm and native animals. I often wonder “who walks who” when I take a dog for a walk, but I know I’ll definitely appreciate their company and playfulness even more than usual this time. I enjoy looking after plants and gardens as well, and miss having a worm farm.

I consider myself a clean, respectful, easy-going person; I have house-sat for friends and neighbours in the past and can provide references if needed. If there’s something else you’d like to know or discuss please feel free to contact me.
