I am available to take care of your pets and home whilst you are away on holidays. I am a fit and active non-smoking female who enjoys a grey nomad lifestyle of travelling and living in different places. I enjoy the freedom and flexibility to explore places at a leisurely pace.
I worked in Finance for more than 30 years. After I quit the corporate world, I used my experience of raising children and juggling a demanding professional career to work as a nanny.
I also did some volunteer work with the Lower North Shore Community transport to provide assistance with their bus outings for senior citizens.
With the onset of the Covid-19, I choose to retire and travel more through house-sitting opportunities. I love to explore new areas and seek out the hidden gems.
I am also an armchair traveller through the lens of travellers posting their travel videos on Youtube.
I appreciate a nice clean home environment and the beauty of a well maintain garden so I will treat your home with great care.
I will water your garden and pot plants, tend to any veggie patch, collect eggs, clear your mailbox etc.
Just as I love being around kids I also love being around fur kids dogs and cats.
I am aware you will miss your beloved pets so I will send you regular updates of your fur babies to reassure you they are happy and well looked after. I will also administer any medication required as per your direction. I will pickup any dog poo in your garden or during a walk outside. All cat litter will be cleaned and disposed as per your instructions.

Libby looked after our newly renovated house and two cats for a week in April this year. I have to say we were a little nervous having never engaged a house sitter before. Following this experience however we cannot rate Libby highly enough. Such a lovely person who is so kind, humble, caring and responsible. Libby sent us photo's of the cats while we were away, communicated regularly and left us a beautiful note and gift. We highly recommend Libby as a professional, trustworthy and competent house sitter who genuinely cared for the well being of our cats. Libby was wonderful! She texted us upon arrival and sent photos to let us know what was happening with our dogs. She kept in touch throughout the stay. The house was kept immaculately and was beautifully clean on our return. She also watered the plants and even fixed an issue with a lock on our gate! We would be very happy to have Libby come and stay again. She also left us a delightful Eater surprise!

I was a little anxious leaving my pets with a sitter for the first time but from the moment I met Libby I knew they were in safe hands. She was kind and gentle with my elderly dog and two cats. She kept me updated while I was away and I came home to very happy, content pets and a lovely clean house. I would highly recommend Libby.

We are so grateful to have had Libby care for our cats and home. She was lovely and responsive from the start and very easy going. We appreciated the pictures and updates while we were away and had such peace of mind knowing she was there. The house was cleaner than we left it and we returned to two very calm and happy cats! Having Libby mind our two pups and our home was the best decision we made. We arrived home to discover our place was cleaner and tidier than when we left. Libby provided us with daily pics which we appreciated so much, particularly with Jack who is approaching 14 yrs but in reasonable good health. I had the pleasure of having Libby house sit for me for 10 days to look after my dog and cat in October 2022. Libby was fantastic and I felt very comfortable leaving my home and pets in her safe hands from the moment I met her. Communication was great from the start and she sent us photos of our pets while we were on holiday which put our minds at ease. It was great to come home to a clean house and happy pets - I think my dog still misses her! She even cleaned my fridge and tidied my tupperware drawer! :) I couldn't recommend Libby highly enough to anyone requiring a house/pet sitter. Thanks again Libby.

Libby was absolutely fantastic and I can not price her high enough. From her communication to arriving right on time and being super helpful from the get-go we really felt reassured that we are leaving our home and three kitties in save hands. Libby was sending us updates and pictures of our cats throughout our 4 weeks holidays and really put the effort into bonding with them and making them happy and cared for. We arrived into a spotless house with everything clean and tidy, she even cleaned our fridge and dressed our bed ready for our arrival! We would love to have Libby over in the future, she truly is a gem <3 Thank you so much Libby <3

Wow! what can I say....Libby was amazing. From her communication before and during our holiday to the happy state of our pets and home on our return. She looked after our 2 dogs and cat with the utmost care. She took Duke to the vet on a scheduled appointment that I had already made, and she actually got our cat to stay home!! She did a load of washing that I hadn't managed to get to and folded. The house was left sparkling - fridge cleaned (!), all plants watered, mail collected and everything in great order. Such a pleasure to come home to. I cannot recommend Libby highly enough. Thank you Libby. I hope you enjoyed Avalon (in the rain?!) and I REALLY hope you happen to be available for our next trip. Libby has been fantastic during her 3 weeks stay at our place! From the first time we met up with her, we knew our cat Maple was going to be in good hands. Trustworthy and great communicator, she kept us up to date with weekly photos of Maple relaxing next to her. It was a pleasure coming back to a sparkling clean home and our little cat is now sweeter with us after being taken care by Libby. Libby accepted my last minute request to house sit my apartment and look after my cat, Harry over the Christmas period for which I was very grateful! She was very conscientious, professional, respectful and left the apartment spotless. She spent quality time with Harry, sent me updates and photos, and was very patient and understanding with all of my specific instructions for him. It was such a relief knowing that he was in good hands and I came home to a relaxed cat and healthy pot plants. I'm very lucky to have found Libby and highly recommend her for future house sits.

Libby and Francis house sat for us for 12 days. Caring for our home perfectly and more importantly our 2 dogs, finicky cat and 4 (yes 4) fish tanks. All furred and finned friends thrived with their care. Libby sent lovely photos and provided updates while we were away. It was the first time we had left our one year old dogs and I was so relieved that they warmed to Libby and Francis immediately. This was a huge relief because one of our dogs is highly strung and nervous. They left our home immaculate and the plants tended too. I would not hesitate to recommend Libby and Francis.
