My husband and I like to travel but find the costs of accommodation quite extravagant and therefore have joined House Sitters. It seems a great way to see Australia whilst helping out others to go on a holiday knowing there home and/or animals will be well-looked after with no expense to them. Will consider most areas but prefer to be close to water whether it be beach, lakes, rivers or streams. Find running water relaxing and rejuvenating and love to fish.

We love animals and have no problem giving your adored pet some loving and exercise while you're away. You can go away knowing we will treat them as if they were our own. We have two young fur babies Watson and Bette who we love dearly. When we need a break, our beautiful niece babysits our house and little ones who she loves dearly. We have also had manx cats in the past and therefore you can rest assured we are avid pet owners. This would hopefully make your leaving much easier.

We are happy to clean up after ourselves (in fact I have been told I leave places cleaner than when I arrived lol), water your plants and collect your mail.

We are retired mature age professionals, myself being 70 years old and my husband Stefan 65 years old. We both drive and have clean driving records. We have never been charged with any criminal offences. We are both non-smokers and like a glass of wine with dinner and are more social drinkers. We love to travel and do so at times with friends. We maintain contact with friends we have met on cruises and have regular reunions. We love our family and friends. We are grandparents of a beautiful girl called Dawn (born 20th July, 2015) and are now proud to say we have two lovely grand daughters (Shania being 23
years old) and another on the way.

As a retired nurse I am a caring person and this applies to both people and pets. Stefan (a retired funeral director) and I are happy to have both rural stays or holidays by the beach. We are quite flexible. We don't really want to have to spend a lot of time doing lawns as we find this is counter-productive to the reasons why we are having a break ie to get away from it all lol.


Both Stef and I are looking forward to meeting some lovely new people as well as discovering new places. We hope we can have the opportunity to experience that well earned break (all of us lol). Thankyou for giving us this opportunity.

Ps we have only house sat twice for the same people a few years back now but they have left a lovely reference for us. We left HHS after those house sits as we bought a caravan and have been travelling in that. We have rejoined HHS as we did enjoy it and look forward to continuing house sitting again. Cheers. ??
