Hi There!
My name is Rosie, I'm 25 and have been house / petsitting for the last 2 years.
In 2015 I travelled New Zealand in the back of a van, and eventually found housesitting was a great way to get some accommodation (and a shower!). A few sits here and there has continued to a full-blown business I continue to this day.
I have always been an animal lover, with my parents plopping me next to my Labrador as a bub, to getting a dog of my own at 15, to volunteering at RSPCA's as I've gotten older. My dog has flown the coop and currently lives with my parents in New Zealand whilst I reside here in Australia.
I love dogs and cats equally, with all of them having unique personalities and ways to remind you there's a big world out there and so much to explore within it. I love to travel, and Housesitting has given me a way to explore new areas right within my backyard.
Quite often whilst booked on a new sit I spend the time exploring the area, taking photographs, catching up on reading or playing with the animals. I love to cook, I love to explore and I love to take each house sit like a holiday away from home.
On each house sit I follow instructions clearly, I'm clean, respectable and ensure great results. I always ensure the dogs are walked for at least an hour each day, cat litters are kept clean, and the animals are cared for (they MUST like cuddles!)
I'm comfortable and more than experienced with large & small animals, as well as multiple animals with conflicting schedules. I'm comfortable administering medication and following any 'rules' you set for your pet.
I go above and beyond within my sits, as my references will outline for me. My new clients almost always come from Word of Mouth. I always rebook and I love meeting new animals. Looking forward to meeting yours!
