Lyan stayed at our place and looked after our tabby cat Percy for 3 weeks while we were on holiday. She sent us regular updates about how Percy was , and other domestic things while we were away. This was really appreciated as it put our mind at ease and we could kick back and have a great trip knowing our cat and home was in safe hands! Lyan was so clean, tidy and considerate - when we got home I think our place was cleaner than when we left! Lyan even cleaned the inside of the fridge and the oven!! She also made sure our fish were fed, and watered our plants, took in mail, took out bins, and was friendly to our neighbours. I would certainly recommend Lyan. She is a very responsible person who clearly takes her role as a house and pet sitter seriously. I would love for her to look after our house again the next time we go away. Thanks again Lyan!

If you are looking for a pro-active, reliable, confident, friendly and professional person to look after your pets and house whilst away, I highly recommend Lyan. Lyan house sat our house for 3 weeks and looked after our cat - Bernie. From the initial introductions and run through of food and routines, I knew Bernie was going to be in good hands and then with texted updates each week of our travels, it was confirmed that they were getting along just fine. Which provided great peace of mind, to know that Bernie was happy, whilst we were so far away. Upon return, the house seemed cleaner than when we left it and Bernie looked content (usually he lets us know, of his dislike of going to a cattery, for days after his return and there was none of his angry demonstrations this time!). A detailed rundown informing us of what Lyan used, washed, observed etc. gave us an idea of her stay at our place. Which we hope was enjoyable too, as we'd definitely would have Lyan house sit for us again.

Earlier this year, my hubby and I had our dream destination wedding which required us to be away from home for around 3 weeks. This trip was going to be the first time that our pets were not left with family or friends and so we were a little worried about our options - we had heard many things about kennels and how they effect your pets. Many of our friends from overseas suggested using a house sitter as an option, but we had not heard much about this and were a little concerned about leaving our beloved pets and our home to someone we had never met before. We scoped out a few websites and found that Happy House Sitters was by far the most professional and trusted site. After posting up a short and brief advertisement, we received quite a few responses - Lyan's definitely stood out from the rest. Her level of communication was very thorough and she was very understanding. After a short coffee date, we knew instantly that she was the perfect house sitter for us! She is a very mature and level-headed individual who is very warm and charismatic. She is cultured and we certainly 'clicked' with her straight away. She even offered to drive myself and my maid of honour to the airport on the day that we were leaving! I knew that she wouldn't have any issues and she made sure that I received updates on how my dog and kitty were doing. When we returned home from the trip, the house was spotless and our pets seemed as though they had had a holiday of their own! All in all, Lyan is a superstar who is very responsible and is fantastic with pets and plants! We will certainly be utilising her services the next time we go on holiday!

Lyan was the first person, apart from family and friends, to house sit, and care for Lucy, my timid cat, while I travelled interstate for 5 days. in April. I was impressed by her conscientious approach and attention to all things concerning Lucy's wellbeing as well as ensuring that my requests concerning 'house protocols' were followed.
