Sue anne and Stephen are fantastic, trustworthy housesitters. Their communication was fantastic and they left the house sparkling clean. We also got lots of lovely pics of our cat purring away on their laps ??

Sue-Anne and Stephen house sat my house and Guinea pig for 5 weeks in June/July 2022. From the very first contact to our return, they were friendly, communicative and totally professional. We first met at my house for them to assess and discuss the house sit, followed by a detailed briefing a few days before we left for our travels. We felt very comfortable with them looking after the house and Guinea pig due to their skill and caring approach in this lead up. During our travels, they messaged us a couple of times with questions, but other than that, they handled the house sit smoothly, allowing us to enjoy our travels. On our return, the house was in perfect condition, with a lovely home made curry in the fridge which was very much appreciated. Although we left the house tidy and clean, the house was much tidier on our return, which was also very much appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for housesitting and pet minding.

Engaging with house and animal sitters was a new experience for us in December 2017 - January 2018 approx 3 1/2 weeks. What a fabulous arrangement to discover! We would definitely recommend it to anyone! It's not an easy decision to make and we definitely felt a little nervous about leaving our brand new home and precious animals in the hands of 'strangers'. From the first time we met Sue-Anne and Stephen we felt at ease to have them stay in our home and look after our cat Kimba who has diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day and our young energetic Labrador Chico who required daily exercising and lots of love and attention. Sue - Anne and Stephen took to our animals immediately and we could tell they were going to be well cared for and shown the attention they needed. Throughout the time we were away they messaged us with updates and photos of Kimba & Chico. Sue-Anne called as we landed back in Sydney to check we were returning home that evening. We returned to an immaculate home and garden as well as fresh bread, milk, cheese and a lovely bottle of red. The house was very clean and the animals very healthy and happy. We have no hesitation in recommending Sue-Anne and Stephen to look after your home and pets. They did a wonderful job for us in Manly for a period of 2.5 months (Aug-Nov 2017), with our large and demanding dog and our home and garden. We had regular electronic communication with Sue-Anne and were reassured that this mature couple could cope in a sensible and appropriate manner with anything that came up. We returned from our long, overseas trip to a happy dog and organised home with everything in order. We very much hope they will agree to come and look after everything at another time, as we couldn’t have found anyone better and are hugely grateful for their care for our precious dog and our home.

Sue-Anne and Stephen were fantastic pet and house sitters. From our first meeting they were approachable, interested in our cat Milo, his habits and behaviours. Throughout the time we were away they messaged us with updates on Milo and their stay at our home. We returned to an impeccably clean home, inside and outside including garden area as well as welcome home cheese and wine. Milo was happy, relaxed and contented unlike his demeanour after a stay at the cattery; he had obviously been shown great affection. We felt entirely comfortable in leaving our home and pet under the care of this couple and we have no regrets. Sue-Anne and Stephen Marsden looked after my home in Rose Bay and my little dog Pippa from 12th March 2017 until 4th May 2017. It was my first experience with Happy House Sitters and it was a wonderful experience indeed! Pippa is 12 years old now, she is a Maltese/Poodle cross and has always stayed with one of my children on my previous travels, so I was a little nervous about leaving her with "strangers". From the first time Sue-Anne, Stephen, Pippa and I met it was obvious that I need not worry. They communicated with me regularly whilst I was overseas, sending pictures of Pippa playing on the beach or in the park. They walked her every day and groomed her to perfection! Most importantly, I arrived home to a very happy little dog and a house in pristine condition. It was such a pleasure to have them both stay here and I certainly hope to call on their services again. We are so lucky to have found Sue-Ann and Stephen. It was our first time using a house sitter for a long trip overseas and were originally nervous because we treat our puppy like our baby. Sue-Anne and Stephen totally understood the type of care we hoped for and put us at ease on the first meeting. They sent photos while we were away and we came home to a happy healthy puppy. Highly recommended!
