Hi,
I am an experienced house sitter who loves pets. Unfortunately, I travel too much to be able to have my own, but I love staying in homes where there are pets and looking after them as if they were my own (both the homes and the pets).
At the end of 2016 I moved back to Sydney after spending a year living on the Sunshine Coast. In both locations I have house sat for a mix of different people, in various different property types and looked after cats, dogs, bird, chickens and gold fish. All the animals were alive, well and most importantly, happy when their owners came home from their travels.
I am a bit of a gypsy and don't really like being tied down to one place indefinitely. So house sitting and I are a perfect match. I love pets, but due to my travelling, can't have one of my own, so I love being able to play ball in the back yard with other people's dogs, or curl up on the couch with the cat while we read a book or watch a bit of TV.
Since 2016, I have been house sitting full time and I have done over 30 housesits.
In both Sydney and on the Sunshine Coast I have house sat for a mix of different people in various property types and looked after new homes, heritage homes, homes with pools/spas, gardens and fish ponds.
Some pets required special meals to be cooked, I looked after vegan pets, pets that required medication, timid, energetic, elderly and very young pets. The types of animals I have looked after are dogs, cats, miniature ponies, birds, chickens and gold fish, oh and one home had a resident possum and two visiting native birds who came to the kitchen window each afternoon hoping for food. I am happy to report that all the animals were well and happy when their owners came home from their travels.
