Hello!

Our names are Miriam and Dennis and we are a pet-loving couple that would love to house sit for you. I am a Registered Nurse and my Husband is a Plumber. We pride ourselves on being trustworthy, accountable and caring people. We are non-smokers and tidy people. We have also have had police checks as part of our consecutive jobs. We have +8 years experience house sitting using this site and love any opportunity to meet new people, new animals and go to new places.

We know how important pets are and will ensure they receive optimal care while you are gone. We enjoy the companionship that pets provide and will make sure they are well cared for. We are happy to provide updates to you while you are away, if required, to give you peace of mind.

We are originally from Melbourne but we enjoy travelling around Australia and are excited to find new house sits in different states and territories.

We have an active 3 year old son who loves animals. He has been house sitting with us since he was born! We have been lucky enough to meet some amazing home owners that have made us feel welcome and safe and confident to continue to house sit with our family.

As your house sitters, we will look after your home, pick up your mail and water plants. Just tell us what you need so you can go on your holiday with peace of mind. References are available on our profile.

Miriam and Dennis house sat for me over Christmas 2021 and were absolutely wonderful in every way. They managed to look after my house, garden and elderly dogs even though they had newborn Ollie to take care of! I could go on but suffice to say I thoroughly recommend Miriam and family as house/dog-sitters - they are very likeable, reliable, pleasant, enormously courteous and more. Miriam and Dennis are excellent house sitters, calm and reliable and easy going,, very adaptable, kind and polite. Just perfect! They took wonderful care of my elderly dogs, the house and the garden for three weeks. On departure they left the house in immaculate condition. All this, despite the fact they had just welcomed their newborn to the world. - pretty remarkable. What a lovely young family. I'm eternally grateful. Nicola

Miriam and Dennis have been house sitters in our house on three occasions. From our first contact with this couple we formed the impression that they were very capable and responsible people. They asked great questions about our location and requirements during our pre-sit conversations that confirmed confidence in choosing them for our house sits. They both clearly demonstrate the traits you want when leaving your pets and home in the care of others – responsibility, reliability, honesty, attentiveness and openness. Importantly, Miriam and Dennis genuinely showed an interest in our animals and our home. Miriam is an excellent and prompt communicator who kept us in touch with any circumstances or events that we needed to know about. Upon our return, we found a relaxed, happy and well cared for little dog and cat and our home was spotless. The garden was alive and in very good condition. We unreservedly recommend Miriam and Dennis Gibson to anyone seeking a top notch house sitter to care for your pets and home. We are sure that they would also be excellent tenants.
