Hello! I'm a 50 year old single woman - a philosopher by trade. I've recently moved back to my beloved home city of Melbourne after 13 years in the North Island of NZ. While there I went semi-rural on a half-acre property where I ended up living with 2 cats and 8 hens! I loved the lifestyle, and the animals, but not so much the limited professional opportunities, so here I am back in the Big Smoke. Getting onto the property ladder in this city is not easy and I've been saving a deposit by living at my Dad's place. But then I was invited to do a 3 month house-sit by a friend in Toorak, looking after her Burman cat. I'm enjoying that so much that I thought when it ends I'd try and apply for some more. (My current gig finishes 15 September). I'm a real cat person - I've always lived with and loved them, and cats tend to enjoy my energy - even cats that normally don't like people much! Introduce me to your cat and you'll see! I'm very good with hens. I have limited experience with dogs but am more than willing to learn. I also have a green thumb and enjoy looking after plants. I don't smoke and I'm tidy. I tend to like to cook and eat at home to save money. I do work full-time during the day. I have a car so if you could provide parking that would be helpful. Cheers!
