I am a retired lady who has 6 children and 15 grandchildren.l have come off a farm life style of 16 years. Breeding sheep for 14 years was a great experience. I delivered at least 25 lambs in that time when the ewes needed help. I had 2 alpacas to protect the lambs from foxes . Other animals on the farm over the years included goats cats dogs rabbits Guinea pigs chickens ducks a talking budgie and goldfish. After 30 years of being in the country my life style has returned me to Melbourne . I am a non smoker a tidy person and respectful of people and their property. I like new experiences everyday. House sitting gives me the opportunity to meet new people and their pets in different locations around Australia. I started h/sitting in March 2018 in Victoria and in;mid June had my 1st qld h/sit l have h/sat in WA and SA have been h/sitting in those states since 3/8/18 and have been booked until the 6/6/19 ..l will return to Melbourne on the 7/6/19 I get to meet new ;people and the pets get to stay in their own environment and they help me to be able to explore a new town and surrounding area .l am enjoying travel this way and the security it gives me .I can supply references and police check. Lyn did wonderfully taking care of my home and all my pets ( of which I have many) while I was away. There was a lot to keep her busy and she did it All.. I came home to happy pets and a shining clean home. Lyn is very trustworthy and kind and I would have no hesitation in having her in my home again.

Lyn was wonderful! I am so grateful to have had her look after my fur baby Mojo and my home . Lyn is a lovely person with an amazing ability to put you at ease and she took wonderful care of my home and Mojo in my absence. I will definitely look to asking Lyn to house sit for me again and would highly recommend Lyn . It us no surprise Lyn is always booked solidly as She is absolutely perfect !

I was so happy with Lyn. I never leave my cat in a cat home when I’m away because she would fret too much so I always need to have her in her own environment. At our home. The longest I have been away from her is two weeks. This time I needed a house sitter for close to two months. I felt horrible leaving my cat for so long not only that she was unwell when I left. I did try to care for her and make sure she was ok before I left but unfortunately a couple things came up and happened while I was away with her health. Lyn was amazing! She looked after my cat took her into the vets to make sure she was ok. Lyn stayed in touch with me often , gave me updates regularly in detail. This helped because I know my cat well and I then it confirmed for me that she was starting to feel better. Lyn gave her two lots of medication even changed the way she could eat her food while her little mouth was on the mend. (By the way Lyn , she has remembered and requests it all the time now. Ha ha ha) I was honestly nearly going to fly home for my baby but then Lyn took care of everything! I could relax while I was away. Not only that Lyn and I both got on very well and I came home after my holiday to a tidy home and well looked after animals ( tropical fish). Very happy! If I could I would have Lyn sit for me again.

I was very pleased with Lyn looking after my dog Max. He was well cared for and Lyn communicated with me several times throughout the house sit. I returned home to a very clean house and washed linen. I was pleased to find her well experienced in the role of house sitting having many excellent references and it was good for Max in that Lyn was home for much of the day, so mimicking the conditions he was accustomed to.

If you are lucky enough to secure Lyn you will be blessed. This was our first experience using a house sitting site so we were initially very nervous. Lyn put us at ease - What a lovely caring person Lyn is and our boys felt it too and loved her. I can honestly say the whole two weeks away I never worried about anything at home knowing Lyn was there. The house was spotless and it is obvious Lyn had so much respect for our home and took such great care of our fur babies. We even had dinner waiting for us when we arrived home! Thank you certainly does not seem adequate ??. I have no hesitation in recommending Lyn and truly hope she has the availability for when we head off again in the future.

This is the first time I've used a Happy House Sitter, so I was a bit nervous. We were to be away for 4 weeks leaving our two "children", our poodles and various birds to Lyn's care. She arrived the night before as requested and I was immediately taken with her warm, capable manner. I started to relax. She sent us videos and texts of our dogs and also, managed to get the little one walking! and them both to stop barking. When we returned, the house was immaculate, and there was some food and even gifts! Not sure why as It was us who should have been giving Lyn presents! I can only heartily recommend Lyn to anybody who has precious pets and things in their house - be assured everything will be carefully looked after. She is a terrific person, very approachable and responsible. If you are lucky enough to book her, you will be as happy as we are! Thank you Lyn, it has been an absolute joy to have you here.

Lyn cared for our two dogs and 1/2 acre property. Lyn did acceptinally well with our 15mth old dog who is full of energy. We were very happy with the care Lyn provided our dogs and with the gardens and house on our return. We would most definitely accept Lyn to house sit for us in the future. Sarah

Lyn kindly looked after our home, our dog and our garden for a week in December, 2018, while we were interstate for a family wedding. We appreciated Lyn coming to meet us before the house sit, so we could get to know each other a little and familiarise her with our dog, house & garden. Lyn is a kind, warm hearted person, who our dog (a greyhound) took to immediately, which was important to us of course. We found Lyn to be honest, reliable, independent & self-sufficient. We appreciated that she went the extra mile in caring for our dog and for the garden, watering our many pot plants, feeding our fish and going out of her way to ensure our dog was eating properly. While we were away Lyn was happy to text us and to send us photos of our dog whenever we asked her to. When we arrived home, Lyn had stripped her bed and washed the linen and towels and hung them on the line for us. She left the house and garden looking very neat and tidy. I would happily ask Lyn to house sit for us again and know that she would do a good job and be completely reliable. Jill (Perth)
