Hi Everyone,
We have been travelling in our caravan for 7 years (80,000kms) and have retuned home with our whippet Belle after starting the journey of house sitting with our chocolate Labrador Maggie. Maggie has now passed on.
Belle is very social and we take her to parks, beaches, walks etc. to meet other pets, she grew up with very cats (she knows they have sharp bits) and some goldfish.
Our home is set on 2 acres of lawn and bush in the hills behind Devonport overlooking the Mersey River..
We have previously used the services of a pet carer when taking holidays. It gave us a sense of relief as we took our leave to know our pets and home were safe and cared for.
So far we have looked after dogs, horses, cats, parrots and fish in homes in WA, Qld and Tasmania.
We have both had different fur, scaled and feathered family members our whole life from Hermit Crabs to hand raised Lambs, Cattle and Goats, Bunnies and Guinea Pigs, Dogs, Horses, Fish, Rescue Cats, Budgies, Chooks, Ducks and Pigeons.
We do not smoke or only drink socially.
We are both retired after working with the Tasmanian Government.
