Cheryl was an amazing house-sitter (and dog wrangler) for 3 weeks early 2023 as we went on an overseas family holiday. She cared for our dog lovingly, walked her regularly and kept up the medication regime. Communication beforehand and while we were away was A1, she was super reliable, very organised and we even came home to a house cleaner than when we left it! Cheryl was just amazing and we hope that the next time we need her she will be available. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cheryl as a wonderful house sitter. THANK YOU CHERYL!!!!!!

I highly recommend Cheryl and Peter for both house-sitting and dog-sitting. From the first communication from them, I knew they would be people I could trust to take care of the Jack Russells that own me. I was really impressed that there was good communication and that Cheryl took time to come over to meet them and see the house. Cheryl brought her own checklist and questions ensuring she knew exactly what they needed to make an informed decision about accepting the offer to dog-sit. Cheryl and Peter were great with the communications throughout the dog-sit time as well, sending me pictures and updates to give me the peace of mind I needed to know that things were going well.. I came home to a clean house, very happy dogs, watered plants, plus some home baked cookies (that were delicious). I would be delighted and honoured if Cheryl and Peter chose to come back for another house-sit, they are wonderful carers and good hearted people that go the extra mile.

Cheryl and Peter recently looked after my cat, Jack, and my pot plants and did a great job. They were reliable and arrived as promised, including with a checklist of things to go through before I left them to it. Jack actually stayed around to say hello before departing to sulk at me leaving him! However, the photos Cheryl sent me while I was away indicated Jack was perfectly fine with his new minders. I returned to a very happy cat and flourishing plants - plus flowers on the table, afternoon tea in the fridge and freshly washed linen (bed sheets & towels) - what more could one ask for? Cheryl and Peter are a delightful couple and fitted in like we had known each other for years. I will be having them back for my next trip and have no hestitation in recommending them to others. We were so fortunate to have the wonderful Cheryl and Peter house to sit and look after our dog and cat, after meeting up with Cheryl and Peter before we left, we went on our holiday completely at ease knowing they would take great care of our animals and house. They were uber professional, providing a checklist of all the questions and things to be asked and we loved our daily animal updates when we were away. We came home to happy pets and an immaculate house. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a super reliable and professional house sitter.

Cheryl and Peter were fantastic. They looked after our house and 2 year old Border Collie Simba for three weeks. This was our first time using house sitters and we were not disappointed. Cheryl sent a checklist so that we didn't forget anything which was very helpful. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing they were there. Simba liked them straight away and brought them toys to play with him. They took him for long walks at least twice a day and kept us updated with photos and stories of their adventures. Nothing was a problem for them, even dealing with extra things including unexpected visitors, deliveries and arranged for our dishwasher to be fixed when it broke down. The house was clean and tidy and the plants well cared for, and most of all Simba was happy and relaxed. We couldn't have asked for better house sitters. We have just returned from NZ and for the first time we utilised Happy House Sitters to organise somebody to look after our home and pets. We chose Cheryl and Peter as our house sitters and I am so happy that we did. We were really nervous to have strangers in our home but from the outset when Cheryl came to meet us, we have been provided with so much information and assistance to prepare for our trip away. Cheryl came armed with a check sheet that she has created that lists all items and information that helps to ensure the house sit goes without issue. We clicked with Cheryl straight away and our animals looked like they had a lovely time while we were away. Our little dog can be shy but took a liking to Peter and we were provided with photo's which was a lovely touch and helped us to relax more while we were away. On our return, the house was left sparkling clean and tidy which we really appreciated. Not only was the house clean and tidy but Cheryl and Peter also left beautiful flowers which was unexpected but highlighted the care and attention given to us and our home. I am so happy we have discovered this lovely couple and will now have to plan our holidays around their availability. I cannot recommend them enough and if you get the opportunity to have Cheryl and Peter look after your home and pets, be rest assured that you have the absolute best house sitters!

Cheryl and Peter were great sitters. Bronson was happy and the house was spotless when we arrived home.

Wonderful, honest and responsible sitters. I would not hesitate in having them take care of our home and pets again. The property was left in an immaculate condition. Our puppy had even been trained to walk on a lead. Great humans!

Cheryl and Peter were excellent house sitters, meticulously clean and attentive to our aged dogs. We were away for a week and never had a concern about how our house was being cared for at all. I thoroughly recommend them for anybody who likes to know their home will be lovely and clean when they return.

I am extremely happy to recommend and thank Cheryl and Peter for their excellent care for my two little dogs and my home for a 3 week period, allowing me to have a worry free break. They are a rare find and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for anyone considering house sitters. I was welcomed home with exceptional treatment, far above what was expected.

Cheryl and Peter cared for my 18 month old Groodle (Alfie) for 4 weeks while I travelled overseas. The communication in the lead up to the house sit was fantastic and we even managed to meet up before hand to run through everything that was required. I came home to a happy pup and a tidy house, including a lovey bunch of flowers. While I was away we kept in contact via what’s app which gave me peace of mind knowing Alfie was in good hands. Cheryl and Peter were absolutely marvellous house sitters and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They looked after our pet dog and cat beautifully - the animals will surely miss them - and took care of our house as if it were their own. They stayed in touch with us whilst we were overseas and we were always sure that we know what was going on if we needed to. It made our trip so much more pleasant to know that they were in control!
