About

We are a non smoking married couple in our early 70s from outer Melbourne suburbs, and have owned our house for the last 32 years. We both like our house kept clean, tidy & well maintained at all times and would treat your house the same way. One of our hobbies is gardening so we would be happy to look after yours while you are away. We have house sat a number of different properties and pets, which include dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, & fish.. We love traveling and we have done a lot of overseas trips and now looking at exploring our own country. I worked in a school library for the last 11 years and my husband with an airline company but we are now both retired. I'm also a volunteer for the local Visitor Information Center.

Carmen and Robert were an absolute delight. They communicated quickly prior and during our time away. Our doggie was very happy and loved the daily walks. They left our home spotless and went above and beyond to clean windows, floors, kitchen and bathroom etc. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them and would definitely invite them back!

We had the pleasure of having Carmen and Robert look after our home and beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Louis, for 6 nights while our family was away interstate over the Easter holidays. Entrusting someone with your home and furry family member is never easy, but Carmen and Robert made the experience seamless and worry-free. Their responsibilities included feeding and walking Louis, keeping our property secure, and tending to our indoor and outdoor plants. Upon our return, we were greeted by a spotlessly clean and orderly home, with every plant thriving - a clear indicator of their attentiveness and care (a checklist was left with list of tasks completed). Louis’s wellbeing was our top priority, and it was evident from the start that he was in excellent hands. He warmed to Carmen and Robert immediately, and we came back to a dog who was not only healthy but visibly happy, showing just how well he was treated in our absence. What stood out most about Carmen and Robert was their excellent communication. They kept us updated with regular messages, which greatly eased our minds. Their warm, friendly, responsible, and reliable nature was apparent not only in their interactions with us but also in the meticulous way they cared for our home and Louis. In conclusion, we would not hesitate to engage Carmen and Robert again for future house and dog sitting needs. Their exceptional service and the peace of mind they provided us are why we would also recommend them to others in need of trustworthy and caring house/pet minders.

Carmen and Robert were amazing housesitters. They looked after our precious furbaby giving us regular updates. Our house was even cleaner when we got home then we left it. Carmen and Robert could not be faulted. They were reliable, friendly and well-organised. We had absolute faith that our house and dog were in good hands, which made going away so much easier. They were extremely clean and lovely to talk to. It was a pleasure to return home and find everything as good or better as when we left it. Carmen and Robert were magnificent as house and pet sitters. I think Teddy really missed them when they left. They looked after our house and garden beautifully and we would have them back any time. Don’t think they missed the Melbourne winter! We would recommend them for any house sitting job.

Carmen and Robert Ryan house sat for us in October 2019. While we were away they cared for our very fussy cat , fish and chickens as well as watering our gardens. I found Carmen and Robert to have good communication, trustworthy and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our loved pets in their care while we took a break.
