My partner Justina and I are both very respectful, clean, and tidy people who will treat your home and your furry or feathery friends as if they were our own!

A little bit about us:

I'm Luke. I help businesses with their online presence and marketing - designing and developing brands, websites, and marketing strategies. I recently sold my previous company of 8 years, a health food manufacturing brand, and am currently enjoying a few months at a slightly more relaxed pace :)

I grew up in Bega, a farming community on the far south coast of NSW which stemmed from my love for nature, animals and the outdoors. We had a hobby farm with cows, sheep, goats, horses, chickens, and of course the mandatory farm dog and cat.

My partner Justina, is originally from NZ and has recently exited the corporate world and started her own online gifting business. Justina is a big animal lover too, especially small cats and dogs. She also loves reading and yoga/meditation.

We are quiet, non-smokers, reliable, very clean, tidy and trustworthy. We love travelling and the outdoors.

Our practical skills and experiences:
* Handy on the tools for any building or maintenance
* Handy with anything mechanical (pumps, mowers, etc);
* Green thumbs - from your favourite fiddle leaf fig to a fully functional farm, your plants are in good hands;
* Domestic pet care - lots of walks and cuddles;
* Basic farm animal care

I recently had Luke and Justina house sit for 7 weeks whilst I was in Europe. The house sit included looking after a 3 bedroom townhouse, a newly planted native garden and my Jack Russell x Hamish. I could not recommend Luke and Justina highly enough. Right from the initial meet and greet I felt very comfortable trusting them with my home and Hamish. From the moment I opened the door to them Hamish was instantly comfortable and happy to see them (despite never having met them before). Whilst I was away I received regular updates and communication and on return the house and garden were clearly very well looked after as was Hamish - his level of excitement at a visit from Luke one week after I got back almost matched his level of excitement at seeing me for the first time in 7 weeks. Luke and Justina even gifted me with a framed photo of Hamish from their stay which was unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. If you are looking for trustworthy, reliable and easy to deal with house sitters then definitely consider Luke and Justina in your search.

Luke was an absolute fabulous house and pet sitter. He was so flexible with dates when I had to move things around to attend a funeral. Receiving regular updates while I was overseas really helped me feel at ease. Luke was very forgiving of my sporadic communication due to poor wifi. I left the house clean and tidy - but Luke left it cleaner and tidier - it was awesome to come home too! The fresh bread and milk were very much appreciated too. Thanks Luke!

We were very lucky that Justina and Luke looked after our cat Indii and our house and garden for 5 months (mid of Nov 21 - mid of April 22). They are wonderful people - organised, tidy, calm, sensitive, trustworthy. Our -with strangers really- anxious cat loved them from the first instance. They took so good care of her that I worried she doesn' t want us to return ever. Regularly they sent us photos from her and she always looked relaxed and happy. And she really was when we met her coming back. Justina and Luke went far and above to look after our big garden as well (a lot of plants and leaves) and the pool, the side strip, the fishpond and even repaired things in the house. We shouldn't write to good about them because it might become difficult to book them again. But honestly: you won't find a better house- and petsitter then them.

We had planned a four and a half month holiday traveling up the western half of Australia. We were then faced with the prospect of looking for house and pet sitters to accommodate the time we would be away. Our pets are two Border Collie dogs, Molly and Rusty. Unfortunately Rusty has challenging behaviours so we were very aware of choosing sitters that were going to be able to handle Rusty assertively. We nervously placed an ad through Happy House Sitters on-line, which we found very easy to navigate through. We had many responses to our ad of which Luke and Justina were the first to respond and make contact. After reading their bios we happily and confidently responded back. We arranged a few meet and greets to ascertain how Molly and Rusty responded to them both.To our amazement Molly and Rusty happily became acquainted with Luke and Justina. The match was happily made by all. Luke and Justina house and pet sat for us from 18 March 2021 through to 5 August 2021. They kept in constant contact with us, sending us regular photos and updates of Molly and Rusty looking very happy and satisfied with life. Knowing our dogs were being so well looked after, and getting feed back from friends in our local neighbourhood, filled us with confidence that we made the right decision. Luke and Justina have a very happy, easy going and friendly disposition and were very well accepted in our neighbourhood, with our friends often recognising the dogs and stopping for a chat. Our home and garden was very well looked after and appreciated, being left exactly as we had left it before leaving for our trip. It was truely an absolute pleasure having Luke and Justina house and pet sit for us, very clean and tidy, accomodating, flexible and trustworthy. It allowed us to enjoy our trip away happily and confidently knowing Luke and Justina were looking after everything at home. We would definitely recommend Luke and Justina as the best house and pet sitters. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Luke and Justina for allowing us to enjoy a wonderful holiday and making our first house a pet sit so memorable and positively happy.

We were away for about 7 weeks, and Luke and Justina were like magical house fairies looking after our house, pets, and garden with incredible care the entire time. Responsiveness: Cannot fault them - they sent regular updates (unprompted by us) on all the things we asked them to take care of, we felt informed and that our house and pets were in safe hands the entire time. House: We had the house professionally cleaned before they arrived, and I swear it was even cleaner when we returned. Pets: we have a cat and a dog, both with very different needs and personalities, and I am certain they were sad to see them go. Garden: we had very specific and not easy things that we asked them to do with our veggie patch while we were away and they kept on top of ALL of it. As a result the seedlings we left are now a bountiful jungle. They also kept our nature strip and backyard mowed, exactly how we had asked them to do it. Overall they were also very proactive with the whole arrangement, it was an absolute pleasure. My only regret is leaving such a good review because if we ever need housesitters again, it's going to get harder and harder to book them!
