My name is Hannelies Grezel and I am a dutch citizen, mother and grandmother (73) of 2 children 38 and 40 and 3 grandchildren of 3 years and 15 months.

My children live in Australia since they were 17. They moved with their father and stepmother and build up their lives here. My son lives and works in Hobart/Tasmania. My daughter and family moved to Melbourne last winter.

Since I am retired (4 years now) I come to visit and can stay a longer period of time.

Before Covid 19 I lived for 7 months in the second home of the father of my children and their stepmother in Nubeena TAS where I managed the flower farm, Former Swallows Nest now Nubeena flower farm. There were the chickens and the border collie Jess who accompanied me wherever I went. I loved to live there at a hilltop with beautiful vieuws and nature all around. I sold the flowers at the markets in the villages around from Port Arthur to Sorell/ Dodges Ferry/ Bream Creek. It made me happy and was so much fun to do.

Doing house sitting is a very good way for me to be in the surroundings of my children and still have my own "private" place.

As a person I am very well organised, tidy, helpful, caring, friendly and I love animals. and gardening. I do not smoke and I drink once in a while a nice glass of wine or special beer. I am very fit and healthy and I do biking a lot in the Netherlands/Europe (long distances) walking(mountains) and running. In Nubeena I joined a bushwalking club and a small bridgeclub.

Professionally I worked as a nurse and counselor, mainly in forensic mental health (20 years) Besides my nursing education I studied german language. Later on in my working life I indicated care for people with mental health issues who needed help and support of the community through asessments/housevisits.

Last time I was in Tasmania I arrived on the 5th of Decembre 2023 and I stayed till end of May 2024. During that time I did 4 house sits in Hobart during 12 weeks. Three sits in Bellerive (same family)and one sit in West-Hobart. I took care of the garden and the dogs. It was a very nice experience and I liked it a lot.

I am looking for a house sit in Melbourne.

I have a house sit booked in Bellerive again in the end of february 2025 till mid March 2025 with the dog Fenton.

References is no problem I can give details later on in the proces.
