About

We are John and Jenny, a retired married couple, currently spending a couple of years travelling and doing some volunteer work in Tasmania. We have no pets at present, but we loved our many previous family pets (dogs, chooks, guinea pigs, fish, rats), and have done a a few house sits during our last couple of years, looking after our friends' cats, dogs and sheep, and their homes. We are non-smokers, non-drinkers, early 60's, plenty of energy, enthusiasm and experience for looking after and caring for your pets. Responsible and mature, we live quietly and respect the property of others. There are references about us on the Happy Housesitters website related to our previous house-sits, so please take a look. John and Jenny were amazing sitters. All their communication and treatment of our cat was incredible. We arrived home to a very tidy house and a cat even more well behaved than when we left! Would highly recommend.

I was very lucky to have John and Jenny take care of my French bulldog and home for a bit over one week, and they were dream sitters. Not only was my fur baby very happy, but the home was also left spotless upon my return. John and Jenny are very friendly, caring and attentive home sitters and are incredible with pets - my dog loved them immediately! Their communication was also outstanding, happy to send me updates and pics (as I always love to hear how my pet is doing) and always responding promptly. Big thanks to John and Jenny! Highly recommend them for any home or pet sit.

John & Jenny were wonderful pet/house sitters. They arrived a few days before we left so that we could meet them and so they could meet our pup. They took wonderful care of Waffles. We received photos and updates which helped us feel relaxed on our break & they waited for us to return to hand back our keys and give feedback upon our return. They were truly amazing pet sitters & absolutely lovely people.
