We are a responsible and trustworthy, non-smoking, retired couple with plenty of common sense and loads of house and pet sitting experience. To date we have looked after more than 150 cats, 100 dogs, ferrets, rabbits, hens and a feisty cockerell, fish (including tropical fish) and canaries!
We have Australian and UK citizenship and Australian police checks. I am University educated and worked as a manager within a multinational blue chip company for many years in London and Sydney. Tony, my husband, worked in the publishing industry for 25 years. We took early retirement and are thoroughly enjoying this alternate lifestyle of housesitting around the world. As we have more time for ourselves, we have the flexibility to travel and also do the things we really love doing, like walking, writing, listening to music and painting...and we are loving it!
We are professional in our approach to housesitting and have undertaken a variety of housesit assignments around the world. We have many years of housesitting experience (over 135 housesits). We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to house and petsit in different countries, experience their history and culture while also enjoying the company of the many lovely animals in our care.
Our travelling lifestyle precludes us from having our own pets so we particularly love that we can shower our love on the beautiful pets that we have entrusted to our care.
We have earned many excellent references and have also been featured in the media. Best of all, many homeowners are now good friends – after house and pet sitting for them we have a special bond.
Housesitting is home away from home. We look after everything as we would if the house was our own. We have been described as outstanding house sitters due to the care and effort we put into looking after homes, pets, gardens and pools and many of the owners have asked us to housesit for them over and over again. Especially appreciated is our ability to resolve problems before they become serious. We know that it may be worrying for you to leave your pets and home; we are very conscious of this and we will make sure that we communicate regularly by email or skype to reassure you that all is well.
We have renovated our own property and landscaped our garden so we can put our hand to most things should the need arise in an emergency.
We recognise the importance of selecting the right people to look after your home and pets. We are genuine animal lovers and having pets to look after is an added bonus for us. We are also house proud and we will keep your house and garden looking spick and span and maintained in good condition for your return.
