About

We’re a travel-savvy Aussie-Canadian family who’ve lived around the world. We’re Michelle (Aussie), Jonathan (Canadian), and our two little explorers (ages 4 and 2), who get to join us as we travel the world together. We love house sitting for the chance to care for homes, settle into local communities, and snuggle some furry friends.

We will lovingly care for your pets and your property!

While we’re new to Happy House Sitters, we’re not new to house sitting! We've cared for homes, pets, and plants in Canada, Australia, Turkey, Switzerland, UK and Italy.

We're also on Aussie HouseSitters (and have some reviews over there).

We’re respectful, tidy, dependable, non-smokers and non-drinkers who take excellent care of others’ homes. Our kids are sweet, well-traveled, and used to living respectfully in different environments. Whether your place is pet-filled, plant-filled, or both—we’re happy to step in with care and attention.

Jonathan has an engineering and mechanical background, so he’s great with small maintenance tasks and keeping things running smoothly. We’re also more than happy to tend to gardens and keep things thriving while you’re away.

We’re former Couchsurfing hosts and have dozens of 5-star reviews on Airbnb (available upon request). Now that we both work remotely and travel often between Canada and Australia, we’re hoping to find house sits that let us experience local life while offering peace of mind to the homeowners we support.

As an added bonus, because we work from home, your pets will have someone around most of the day!
