About

Our home is a spacious old farm house (fixer upper) set out on a flat 3/4 of an acre in the beautiful Dandenong ranges. We are surrounded by tranquility- wildlife, puffing billy, rolling hills and many walking tracks.

Pets & farm animals

We require an individual or couple to care for our chickens, ducks and two indoor cats. This involves letting our girls out of a morning, locking them up of an evening (6pm (very important due to foxes), refilling their feeder and changing their water daily. We will arrange for a family member to come and clean their coop at least once during the three week period.
In regards to our cats, they’ll require a tin of wet food nightly. Their water, dry food and two litter trays will need to be replenished every two days. Our cats have access to a small outdoor enclosure for fresh air. One of our cats can be a little unpredictable and play quite rough so our preference is for an individual/couple who have experience with cats.

House Tasks

Collect mail, water veggie garden and collect eggs.
