Hi there, we are a family of 4 looking to go on our once in a lifetime 1/2 lap of oz with our 2 kids while we can still make them come with us!
We live in Rochester VIC, only 20 min from Echuca and the mighty Murray river, with all it has to offer.
Our home is a 4 bedroom house in town and we have 2 dogs that we would like looked after. One is a 9yo Labrador named Mack and the other is a 19mo whippet named Blue. Blue has some separation anxiety, so its very important to me to find a house sitter that will treat him like their own. They are inside/outside dogs, and are used to sleeping inside at night. The 2 chooks would probably stay as well if we find a sitter.
Will require some gardening duties (mowing, pruning, spraying weeds etc).
Ideally would love an older couple who love dogs and be willing to take on a long term house sit in this beautiful part of Victoria

Pets & farm animals

9yo Lab named Mack. doesn't require much apart from regular maintenance ie; toenails trimmed, worming. Very well behaved dog, going a little deaf. Entire male but has never been a 'doggy dog'. Loves pats and water.<br />19mo Whippet named Blue. Suffers from separation anxiety, on daily medication. Becoming a well behaved dog, good recall. Is still very playful and loves to play fetch with his toys. Can be standoffish. Wary of strangers, excellent guard dog. Does not bite, no aggression. Is desexed.

House Tasks

Mow lawn, spray weeds, prune roses in winter, water garden in hot weather, general garden maintenance. Keep house tidy and clean. Give tablet to whippet once a day. Walk dogs regularly. Take dog/s to vet if required (due to injury or illness).
