We have a lovely immaculate 4 bedroom house with pool and great views in quiet location. There are loads of bush walks, water activities etc, and trendy coffee shops/restaurants just 15 minutes walk away. It’s a 2 minute walk to buses to pretty much anywhere and there is also plenty of safe street parking. Also its a 5 minute drive to catch either a ferry or else a rivercat - operating along the Parramatta River.

Our preference is for a semi /retired couple who is used to living in a house with a backyard etc. We have a chunky (well he thinks he’s hunky) cavoodle who has human company pretty much 24/7. (This is because I have always worked from home - recently retired). He is generally used to human company for most of most days, and will be incredibly grateful when you come home. He loves absolutely loves people. Other house sitters are sad to leave him behind. He is an inside dog (read = sits on the sofa with you & sleeps in his own bed in your bedroom), but he also has full time access to a good sized adventure playground/garden in the fenced backyard. It would be our preference that the housesitter is someone who is retired, or who works from home.
Our cleaner will still arrive every 2 weeks, and the dog’s groomer will come to our house and wash him and also clip him when required.

House Tasks

Re garden care. There are a lot of pots that need to be watered, but otherwise (unless its been dry), just the occasional water is fine. However at this time of year the backyard will require daily blowvaccing due to shedding fromthe enormous jacaranda tree that overhangs the whole backyard. We will have someone mow the lawns, and the pool will still be covered, and so only require occasional attention. Our usual cleaner will come in once a fortnight (no cost to you).
