Hi, Would you like to spend some time in a cosy mudbrick home on half an acre with private outlook, located 3 km from Castlemaine. Large veggie patch, fruit trees and native garden. Air conditioning, wood fire (with plenty of wood supplied) as well as gas and electric heating. Large TV with netflix.

Castlemaine is a small country town in Central Victoria with a great cafe scene, cinema, plenty of art, good music and bushland to walk and ride through. There is a weekly market and a farmers market monthly.

Pets & farm animals

We have a lovely 11 year old Kelpie Heeler cross called Smokey who needs to be walked 1-2 times a day. There are nice walking spots close to our house where he can walk off lead. He's a calm and loving dog who rarely barks and is well behaved. He has a dog door to come and go as he pleases from the house. He needs to be given medication twice a day for a mild heart condition.

House Tasks

Your only tasks would be to walk Smokey, collect mail, hand water a few pots, turn irrigation on and off and feed chickens/collect eggs. You'll have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the peace.
