I have a lovely 25 acre farm within 10 minutes of the Surf Coast where I breed registered Dairy Goats and Boer Goats, currently have 40. I also have a lovely Arabian pony mare that is no longer ridden and I can't forget my 2 lovely babies a both Beagle crosses, Milo and Pepper. I need a sitter that is comfortable with feeding out to my livestock who are all very friendly and one that is very diligent in knowing where my dogs are allowed to go and where they are not. My dogs sleep with me therefore looking for that right person or couple who don't minding sharing their sleeping quarters with 4 legged furry bed mates. The dogs have a special dog proof free roaming area in a bushed section at the front of my home and our house yard is enormous with several areas of garden that will need the odd watering, mostly natives. I'm extremely hesitant to leave my 4 legged family and home to travel but do need to get away for a break. Prefer my sitter or sitters to be home most of the time, not suited to someone who works away from home or is away at night, looking forward to discussing further with all interested animal/nature lovers.

Pets & farm animals

My 2 dogs get feed twice a day, live in the house and must always be locked in if leaving the property to go shopping, beach etc. They do love to be with people, but can't be allowed access to the open paddocks as they will escape through the fence and a major highway is out front which is very dangerous, Beagles follow their nose's and their hearing turns off, so my main worry is them being safe at all times. The farm animals would just need to be given hay daily and their water checked and of course once they get to know you they'd love a rub.

House Tasks

Would love for my appointed sitter to take care of my garden while away, watering if needed and maybe mow the lawn.
