Hi, we are looking for a house sitter/pet sitter for the 18 December - 11 January. We live in Kahibah, a small town on the edge of Glenrock Reserve in Newcastle (a popular hiking/mountain biking/beach area). We are located 6 mins drive to Dudley Beach and Merewether Beach, 10 minutes to Redhead Beach, 10 minutes drive to Newcastle CBD, and 15 minutes drive to Lake Macquarie. We have 2 dogs (a kelpie and a staffy) and 1 cat, so if you are an animal lover we'd love to hear from you. The dogs require feeding twice a day and a short walk. The cat is pretty low maintenance and just requires feeding twice a day. Outside of this, we would just like you to collect the mail and water the inside plants. Our house is 3 bedrooms (+ a baby room) on 900 m2, with a big deck and a hammock and a nice garden out the front (we also have a tree swing if you have kids). We are happy to hear from singles, couples, or families with kids wanting to stay. House can comfortably sleep 6 (2 queens, 1 single, 1 trundle with a proper mattress) + an infant (cot). We have Prime, Stan, wifi, aircon, and fans in the bedrooms. Plenty of parking available on our long driveway.

Pets & farm animals

Evie- a 3 year old American staffy. Loves being around people (thinks she's a human) and will want to be close to you. <br />Fen- 13 year old kelpie. Old girl, very sweet with kids. Will lie at your feet. A bit grumpy on the lead to other dogs, but walks OK if her halti is on<br />Moana- black cat. Loves sleeping on beds or the front porch. Cat people love her.
