Hello!

We are a young family of two adults, a toddler, a baby and a 3 year old dog named Luna. We will be travelling to Europe in August and are looking for a reliable house sitter to look after Luna and our home in Griffith, ACT.

The house is located in Canberra's Inner South near Manuka Oval. From here you can walk in 10 minutes to Manuka shops and pool, or take the bus into downtown. Nevertheless, it is recommended to bring a car.

Our house was built in 1935, but has been extended and renovated. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room and a large kitchen/living room. From the front and back porches you can enjoy the garden, which is completely fenced.

You will have access to the whole house and garden including the carport. You can make yourself at home in your own bedroom and bathroom with bathtub. Please feel free to use all appliances, including TV, dishwasher, washer and dryer, BBQ and hot tub.

Your primary responsibility would be to take good care of Luna. This includes feeding her twice a day, letting her toilet every four hours and taking her on a 40-60 minute walk at least once a day. If necessary, you would also have to take her to the vet. You would need to come by in advance to meet Luna, who is a wary of strangers at first, but very cuddly and affeciationate once you have gotten to know each other.

Apart from taking care of Luna, we would need you to water the few indoor plants we have and take out the bins once a week. Someone will come by once a week to clean the house and a gardener will take care of the garden as necessary.

Please contact us if you (and your family) have experience with reactive dogs and would be able to meet Luna in advance.
