About

Hi - we live in the beautiful Blue Mountains just outside Sydney. We need the house and our cat Mia looked after whilst we are away overseas. The house is on a reasonably steep block with steps/stairs to be negotiated but the views are great. We need someone who will treat our home as we do, looking after it and leaving it in the condition we hand it over in i.e. clean and tidy. Our British Blue Shorthair is shy until she gets used to you. More easily achieved if you 'ignore' her at first and just feed her lol! She sleeps in her pet carrier in the laundry at night so doesn't have the run of the house at nightime - her choice, she feeld more secure there. There are plenty of places to explore here in the Mountains, bushwalks galore and trains to Penrith for a Westfield and the City for those who want to do sightseeing and also a bus service to Springwood for shops.. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station.

Pets & farm animals

Mia is a 3 year old British Blue Shorthair cat who is initially very shy but is very affectionate once she gets to know you. She is an indoor cat only and spends most of her day sleeping in any sunny spot she can find. She enjoys playing with balls and would make a great soccer player LOL! At night she sleeps in the laundry in her cat carrier (door open of course) as she feels secure there. She has 2 meals a day, dry food in the morning and wet food at night.
