Looking for a mature and experienced dog-house sitter to care for our 15 year old Australian Silky Terrier and 2 hand-raised budgies (less than a year old).

Our Silky is very sweet, gentle and house trained who likes to know you are around. You do not have to house bound but would prefer someone that works from home or studies. He will need medication (syringe by the mouth), special diet meals prepared and local visit to his vet for treatment.

This is a 2+ week stay in our 3-bedroom well-kept house in Ashmore. The property is very secure and central to shops, cafes, hospital, schools, parks.

- Sitter would have own room and bathroom and needs to be a non-smoker.
- Vet nurse (or pet training) experience/background preferred.

House Tasks
The main goal of house sitting is caring for our beautiful Silky Terrier, to keep him company and to watch over him. He cannot be left alone for too long, more than 4-5 hours. Also our budgies but they are very low maintenance.
House will be kept clean and tidy for your arrival and ask that you keep it clean and tidy prior to leaving (everything in the same condition too).

You will be filled in on all the house tasks once you express interest. We always provide a house sitting instruction manual.

As our Silky requires palliative support, you will not be able to bring your own animals. Solo adults or adult couples, thanks!
