Hello, fellow pet house-sitting families! Are you looking for a home away from home during these December holidays? Or would you like a furry companion of the cat or dog kind? Well, do we have the options for you? We have 2 fluffy boys that can either stay here at the best house in the North of Melbourne or go home with you to your home to keep you company. Should you wish to have both boys and come stay here, let me tell you how amazing this house is: The cutest 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, weatherboard has a great front yard, and privatised, entertaining space. Fit with BBQ and dining table outside. There is also an off-street parking space in the front if you need it. But plenty of parking in the street. Not enough? What about the cozy lounge and dining space for entertaining? Or the massive TV for those quiet nights in? Need to relax have a toasty hot bath! Want to have some time alone? Head into the fully private back courtyard deck with a fire pit. Plenty of outdoor and indoor games. Books to read, and areas to enjoy. Sleeps 4. Hadfield is a sweet little neighbourhood. There is a nearby train station direct to the city and buses that go up and down our street. We have 2 corner store areas with cafes and Woolworths. There is also the best cafe in the North called Twos Company which we love. There are plenty of parks and a hop skip or jump to Brunswick/Coburg nightlife. If you wish to come and enjoy the house in all its well-designed splendour, we just ask you to have both boys here and take care of it, as if it were your own. Who are these magical boys? Meet John Howard. Just like the PM but with much better policies and he doesn’t do shooies. • Well trained but still gets puppy brain when excited. As he is only just 2 years old. • Mixed kelpie-dane. But mid-sized gent. • Playful and kind boy. Not a mark of anger in his bones. • Never been in a fight with another dog. • Loves to work for his dinner. • Clean and NEVER goes to the toilet inside. • He will pick his spot to go to the toilet when you tell him, and that is it for life. He will not do it on a walk. • Loves to play with his “bone” which is really just a kong. • He has a strict diet due to an issue as a puppy. But we will supply all of that. • Never gets on furniture. He has his bed and likes to know his spot in the house. • Loves other pets including cats. • A gentle soul who is OBSESSED with kids. • Great on his own and with people. But please make sure you have high fences. • This would not be my first time away from home. Introducing Chandler Mural Bing! The cat with a leg sewn on. • Chandler is a 5-year-old cat that has been trained like a dog. He comes when called and knows lots of words. • You cannot pick up Chandler as he had his leg broken by an abusive woman who threw him. As a result, he has one leg missing the top femur bone and sewn on by muscle and tissue. • He struggles with trust, but once you’re in he will be cute and maybe even give you a lap cuddle. • Very low maintenance. One tablet in the morning for his pain and anxiety and then he just does his own things till he wants bikkies. • He is SUPER clean. He prefers an alfresco poop. He uses litter if he must but if there is a bit of dirt outside you better believe he’s using it. • You don’t need to play with him. He doesn’t play because he hurts himself and then has pain. • He doesn’t like to be overstimulated. He will nip you if you push the cuddles/attention. • He will sleep at your feet when you build trust. • He has a strict diet as the missing bone is his back leg and he can’t strain to do poos. We will provide everything you need here as well. We are open to having the boys together or separately. They are used to going away camping together and alone with us. So there are no issues there. We love our boys and our home and are interested in seeing what works best for you.
