About
I live in a very modern, clean one bedroom dulpex in Pimpama, located North of the Gold Coast. My home is situated 3 minuntes from the M1 Highway and is 40 minutes to Burleigh OR Brisbane. It's a great midway location between the busy city centres of the Gold Coast (Broadbeach etc, only 30mins away) and Brisbane CBD. I live 10minutes from Dreamworld, and 20mins from Movie World, Wet N Wild and other theme parks. Westfield Coomera is also a close 10 minute drive. I currently am looking for a sitter to take care of my 5 year old dog, Cocker Spaniel Charlie while i'm away from 22nd December 2024 to the 2nd January 2025. Charlie is a well-natured dog I rehomed when he was 10 months old :) He has a little bit of anxiety but is managed with medication, lots of outdoor walks and unconditional love.
Pets & farm animals
Charlie is a beautiful, well natured Cocker Spaniel - he is 5 years old (nearly 6) and I re-homed him when he was 10 months old. He has the best personality, LOVES a cuddle and belly scratch. Charlie has some anxiety so gets quite stressed in the car and in loud, busy public settings. Charlie loves long park walks where he can sniff for a long time. Medication – - Charlie has one Zactin tablet every morning – I hide these in some ham. You’ll need to watch him to make sure he actually eats it because he’s a tricky bugger and sometimes spits it out. - Charlie also now has half of an allergy tablet so you just give him one of the halves in some ham too each morning ?? Food – Breakfast: - Charlie has around 100/150gms of dog roll chopped up and put into his bowl, and a greenie you can give him as you’re walking out the doorr. - I wait until I’m about to walk out the door in the morning to give him his food and a greenie as this helps alleviate his separation anxiety, as it’s my normal morning routine and he knows I’ll be gone for the day ?? Dinner – - Charlie has just under one cup of dry kibble for dinner. I’ve left his kibble on the kitchen counter as well in bags for each night. I put a splash of water in the biscuits to soften them a little. Charlie sleeps on the bed at night as well
House Tasks
The only task will be to pick up Charlie's droppings from outside, check the mail and put the bins out weekly on Tuesday night :)
