Lovely oversized sunny 1BR + study + dressing room apartment, in a very quiet and peaceful waterfront location in Balmain East (10 min walk to Ferry > 4 mins to Barangaroo, 8 mins to Circ Quay). 3 min drive to the centre of Darling St Balmain with amazing cafes, pubs, shopping etc. The home has a huge sunny east facing deck, direct common garden access and a glorious private pool. It's next door to beautiful waterfront park and lots of other great walking trails and quiet streets.

I have a confident, super social, friendly, intelligent and very affectionate 5.5 year old Cavoodle who needs lots of love + cuddles from an attentive and experienced dog sitter while I’m traveling. He needs lots dedicated time with his beloved humans, plus want to meet and greet everyone he sees at the park/street!

Like most Cavs, he can get sad and anxious when his mum leaves him, so I'm really hoping to find someone who's happy to spend the majority of their time with Bruce as their happy +1, so he doesn't get anxious when left alone at home.
He won't cope well with being left for more than about 3-4 hours at a time if he's with someone new.

So, ideally I'm looking for a bit of a homebody, someone who works from home, is retired or someone very content to spend almost all their time with Brucey cuddled on the couch, or hanging out in the park/outdoors, or accompanying them as a happy + 1 on adventures around the neighbourhood :).

nb: poor little dude has some nerve pain in his spine, legs and hips which means he’ll have fun big bursts of energy, then want to very regularly sit and relax on walks for lots of breaks. Usually he just plops on the ground or spread out on park benches - which are his favourite!

There are some daily supplements he needs to help manage his discomfort.

Pets & farm animals

A lovely 5.5 year old 9.5kg chocolate Cavoodle, who likes lots of love and attention. Daily walks, hanging out on the shady grass in the park and lots of cuddles and play time at home with someone who will be home most of the time, and enjoys quiet time with a very affectionate and loving dog.

House Tasks

#1 priority of course is to take amazing care of my baby Bruce.

My 2nd children are my indoor plants :) They shouldn’t need any watering or care unless the ones closest to the lovely sunny windows or on the deck look a little droopy. Just a light water once a week should do it.
