About

We are on a two and a half acre rural residential property in the hamlet of Beechmont, Scenic Rim, Queensland. We are a 10 minute drive from the World Heritage Lamington National Park (Binna Burra) and a five minute drive from the glorious Rosins Lookout. We are 15 minutes from the charming Canungra village (Foodworks, Pharmacy, PO, bank, doctors and dentists) or 30 minutes to Nerang with all supermarkets and Big Box stores. Our home has a comfortable Master bedroom with ensuite, an office (fast Wifi), a loft TV / rumpus room, as well as comfy lounge / dining with soaring cathedral ceilings and well equipped kitchen and laundry. A large deck with electric BBQ adds a wonderful space to eat, entertain, and relax. There is a wonderful sense of privacy and being in nature, with a supportive kind community available if required. Enjoy watching wallabies and birds, including wedge tailed eagles, from the deck. Help yourself to a flourishing veg garden and maturing fruit orchard.

Pets & farm animals

Our 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Margie is seeking a caring, kind carer while we are away. Margie has a beautiful soft, calm temperament and loves people but can be a little shy and nervous until she knows you. She dislikes large bouncy dogs! She loves to have a ball game on our paddock or in the office. She loves to snuggle in the evening for TV watching. She is a good girl. As she is used to having us home all day, we would prefer sitters who are happy to prioritise being company for Margie. We leave Margie inside the house if we go out so we like to only be away for a maximum of 4 hours.

House Tasks

MARGIE OUR DOGGIE: be a kind companion and carer; feed - main meal in late afternoon; walk morning and night; ball game on the paddock at lunchtime; ad hoc ball games in the house during the day. HOUSE: collect mail, put bins out.
