Hi, we’re Sharon and Lauren, we have 2 children and are seeking a caring individual or couple to look after our family home and pets (2 small dogs and a duck). Location: Our comfortable new 4-bedroom home is in Wannanup, near Mandurah, featuring a pool, theatre, and reliable NBN internet. You’ll have a room with a queen bed. We don’t smoke, but if you do, smoking outside is okay. Nearby Activities: Enjoy a range of outdoor activities: • Avalon Beach: 1 km for surfing, swimming + fishing • Dawesville Cut: 500 m for fishing • Village Beach: 800 m for swimming and paddleboarding • La Belle café: 800m for the best coffee in Mandurah • Shops and Cafés: Within a 5-minute drive Central Mandurah is just 20 minutes away, offering cinemas, restaurants, and more. Perth is about an hour’s drive or accessible by train from Mandurah. If you love nature and outdoor adventures, you’ll feel right at home here.

Pets & farm animals

We have two small dogs: Mylo, a 2-year-old Japanese Spitz cross, and Pi, a 13-year-old Beagle cross, both weighing 8-10 kg. They have access to a doggie door to allow them to take themselves inside and outside, and they sleep indoors at night. They will take themselves out to go to the toilet. Pi is quiet and sleeps a lot, while Mylo is more active but settles down easily. They need feeding twice a day and are walked on leads a couple of times a week. Our blind duck, Stevie, stays in her safe enclosed house. Her water should be emptied and refilled daily, pellets topped up weekly, and her swimming bowl refreshed every 3-4 days. You can also feed her a few lettuce leaves daily, placing them in her swimming bowl.

House Tasks

Collect mail. Put out the bins. Water pot plants. Keep home clean. Feed, walk, clean up after dogs. Feed and water the duck.
