About

I have a house built in 1873 and since living here (20 year) have renovated the entire property into a lovely north facing place which looks onto a well established garden. I am recently widowed and can thank my wife for having created a beautiful home. The CBD is only 2 blocks away where all the facilities of a regional NSW city are on offer.. There are 'many' bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a carport.

Pets & farm animals

Olive is my 2 year old whippet who wants to stay in her home rather than the local kennels. She is VERY friendly and craves human company but becomes quite unhappy when separated from her carer. She does settle down fairly quickly and awaits the return while curled up in her bed. <br /> There is also a fish pond but the 40 odd fish don't need attention and are happy fending for themselves. I do greet them each morning and to keep in their good books, give them fish flakes.<br /> Two chooks live out the back where they enjoy the life of Riley as their egg producing days have passed. They have a self feeder and a water supply but more eggs would be greatly appreciated by me. I have spoken sternly to them but to no avail.

House Tasks

For the most part, the garden looks after itself unless there is hot dry conditions over an extended period. I have 10000 liters of water in 2 rainwater tanks on hand. The house always seems clean to me but the occasional vacum does help !
