Fred and Barney (@fred_and_barney01), 8 year old Bloodhound X brothers (~30kg each) require a couple or 2 friends to look after them in their 2 bedroom house while Mum and Dad are away over Christmas. They are accustomed to 2 daily walks and being fed 2 meals a day. As they are scent hounds they need to be kept on lead at all times when away from home. They can be walked together but it is a much better experience for everyone if they have a human each. They are inside / outside dogs, but only inside when humans are at home. They sleep outside in kennels. The boys are quite happy being home and outside without humans during daylight working hours. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 living areas, separate dining room, 1 bathroom, 2 toilets and an undercover deck. There are a small number of plants to be watered. There is off-street parking for one car and also street parking (and permits) for extra vehicles. The house is within walking distance of the number 72 tram (5 minutes) and both Gardiner and Tooronga stations (10 minutes) on the Glen Waverley train line. There are supermarkets, pet shops and cafes within walking distance and Camberwell Junction is 10 minutes away on the tram. The neighbourhood is very friendly with plenty of help available in case of any kind of emergency. Looking forward to hearing from potential sitters.
